I bought the whole DLC pack for $35, so I should have HoW right away. Everything on the left main screen with Earth, Mars, etc is blank.
 
I'll be on later this evening for a few hours, if only to complete a few bounties ...anybody/somebody hit me up. :smokin

So there is a guy waiting for the DLC to open everything he has in the postmaster. He has over 100 packages to open and engrams and everything as well. 
Currently I have:
  • 66 Dead Orbit Packages
  • 6 Cryptarch Packages
  • 1 New Monarchy Package
  • 1 Crucible Package
  • 1 Primary Weapon Legendary Engram
  • 3 Special Weapon Legendary Engrams
  • 5 Heavy Weapon Legendary Engrams
  • 8 Helmet Legendary Engrams

  • 4 Chestplate Legendary Engrams
  • 2 Boot Legendary Engrams
And then I have all factions edged up for all my 3 characters, so that means once the DLC drops, these packages will contain new HoW gear:

  • 3 Dead Orbit Packages
  • 3 Future War Cult Packages
  • 3 Cryptarch Packages
In addition to these, I have
  • 42 Vanguard/Crucible commendations
Each one is worth 250 Reputation but with Nightfall XP Bonus, comes out to 312 Reputation each, so that means i’ve got 13,104 Reputation, waiting to be allocated, which means 5 more ranks in a faction of my choice, hence
  • 5 Dead Orbit packages
In the process of opening 20 Dead orbit packages per character, wearing the D.O. Class item means I get 125 Reputation per package opened, meaning I’ve got 2500 Rep per Character going right back into Dead Orbit for another

How can he have 66 DO packages?

I thought each character can have 20 each

I have a **** ton of engrams to hand in bc of the farming and about 20 packages. And maybe a few more after getting the commendations from those same packages.

Im scared man

I just logged into mine and its the same. You wont see anything on the right until 10 am PST when the DLC drops. The reset was this morning, so rather than put out a nightfall for 6 hours, they just didnt put anything and will update it when the DLC drops.
 
Trying to see if running the raids first for chance of new exotics at deathsinger, crota, gorgon chest and atheon is better before doing the story missions first..?

Old content is not dropping "new" exotics.. what they meant was that they'll drop new level exotics.

Best believe, I will be running these old raids. Crota playing games with my boots/chest.

20 per character, which means a 60 postmaster limit, which leads me to believe he's counting the XP gained from opening the packages/wearing your class item.
 
I got 1 key. Only did the new bounties on two of my characters yesterday and was able to open the chests at least twice with each key.

I'm not ready for this grind :lol:

Looks like you can access nightfall right away. Arc Burn, Juggler, Lightswitch and new modifier Brawler. 

EDIT: Looks like no Lightswitch. I thought I saw it when I was watching a livestream. 

Arc burn + Brawler = Bladedancer heaven.
