Damn, son.....I helped quad get to 5 wins yesterday before reset

Son actually held his own....I was shocked

We even had to pick up a randy from LFG cause no one else was on...

The best part about that whole run was him getting greedy and wanting to hit 9-0, tho...

He lost track of time and didn't even make it back to reef to buy the chest piece...

Wait... he ran trials, got at least 5 wins and still didn't buy the chest?!

it doesnt make sense. quad never learns lmao. last week he goes 9-0 with me and blazen but doesnt go to mercury. now he goes 5-0 (after completely being useless in our games) and doesnt even cop the chest. i just dont understand

Started my hunter and now at level 3. Is the best way to level up and get gear through playing the storymode or PVP?

As much as I enjoy PVP and play it mostly these days.. The best way to level a character is through the story. If you have a friend to carry you through the hardest difficultities or load up checkpoints and you load in for the boss kill credit, will help you level faster.

PVP is too frustrating if you don't have the right guns or subtree perks unlocked. You'll just be frustrated.

To add to Bos's post about the story also check back into the tower once you reach rank 5 to get and do the bounties as you do the story and patrol. Each day you can also complete a public event to give you a one time package of 2500 xp along with 500 for completing the event itself. I suggest going to the divide and doing the devil walker as there are usually high level players there already and they'll usually solo it practically. Just have a scout and sniper ready to stay as far away from walker and mobs as possible once you tag him.

Cool, I'll look into these bounties. I currently have a bounty where I'm suppose to snipe 15 guardians with a headshot...So does that mean other players or the CPU?

Oh yeah, my PSN is: Fozzy Badfeet

That's crucible. Crucible bounties will be a pain in the *** for you to do especially if you aren't use to FPSes and even are new to the game itself. Just do the vanguard PvE ones for now and ignore the crucible ones for now. Plus without exotic weapons you'll be a step behind the curb anyway.

Sounds good, thanks for the insight.

What matters most is time of day. From hardest to easiest (CST):
  • Late-night (11pm-4am)
  • Night (8pm-11pm)
  • Afternoon (12pm-4pm)
  • Evening (4pm-8pm)
  • Early morning (4am-6am)
  • Morning (6am-12pm)
By Days, it gets easier each day, with a minor spike on a Monday.

In other words, the easiest times to play take advantage of the sleep-schedules of night-owls (Read: hardcore gamers) and the work schedules of more casual players (Read: People with better things to do than run trials)
