You need to kill blades of crota. Only one left is in the the first TDB mission. They did up the drop rate by 150% though so.

Its a gun that seems like it is useless (its a white gun).

However it is used to create the Nechrocasm, the exotic awarded by acquiring the Crux of Crota from HM Crota.

You combine it with the upgraded Husk, now called the Eidolon Ally (getting 500 hive kills with Husk) to form the Nechrocasm. The most under-whelming exotic since No Land Beyond.
 
Yea no land beyond can do some things in PVP.

My award for the worst exotic goes to the dragons breath/supergoodadvice

got my second gally last night and wasn't even remotely pleased. I've ran over 350 strikes and hopscotch pilgrim has yet to drop for me. I've seen it drop only 3 times.

None of the guys I normally run with have gotten one to drop them either. Although, a couple of them have gotten the Hand Cannon and sniper rifle. I got the MG which is basically a Corrective Measure.
Oh yea I got the Hopscotch Pilgrim x2 on back to back Dragon Strikes as well

 i did get the other pulse and its pretty good but not the one im hunting for. I've gotten every single weapon from the strikes but hopscotch.
 
Hopscotch P might be the best PvP gun in the game. It is unfair man :lol:

I have been MOBBING with it, the Matador, and Gally this week in elimination. I mean just straight bananas.

I used light on it as well so imma get it crackin in trials this weekend :pimp:
