I missed the twitch stream... What the heck I'd the court of oryx? I saw it on Twitter... It seems like a poe or something?

It appears to be a new form of a public event, but similar to the PoE format. The new mechanic of it is that you have the ability to trigger the public event on your own instead of waiting on it. In this case, you have to acquire a rune, present it to the statue in the Court of Oryx and the event triggers.

There are 3 tiers from my understanding, each with increased difficulty. The bosses didn't appear to be bullet sponges and required to you use at least some form of a strategy. After completion of an event, you are presented with a chest of loot.

It seems like you'll need 6+ for the Tier 2 and Tier 3 events. I mean you had up to 3 bosses to deal with at one time in Tier 2 :x

You can only have 3 on a Fireteam, but you can have up to two other full Fireteams join in.

TMT is already like 8-9 deep when we all on. You just make sure JR is there with his stuff fully leveled so he can partake and not be complaining about us leaving him behind

New gig I just started last week...no time off planned for me....yet....

I can work a compressed schedule and take a day off as needed though

Im I the only not edging or preparing for TTK I took a day off (weds) and since I'm off thur-sats anyways I should be good. I really don't like the grind and or format of PoE. I have crap load materials and stuff. Next week I will just line up all the 5000 bounties but some dudes are going hella hard tho.....
