The trick to that bounty is to actually avoid Phogoth. You can just kill the other enemies and then they will eventually spawn Xyur. Once you kill him you don't even have to complete the strike. I would help but I'm busy until the weekend.

I am 4 energies away from fully upgrading my icebreaker as well, so all is not for loss.

I think a decent amount of us will be running nightfall, weekly, daily, and some exotic bounties tonight. I know that Zero and I will and Wrighone will be our third since we've been doing it for the past few weeks together. A few of us spoke on Saturday night and I think Thursday night is when we are going to try to get one group to speed run through normal. And if we can get it done in around an hour, which with the way the group has been leveling their weapons it can be done, we can try to cheese the Templar and such on hard afterwards quickly. And maybe try to do the gatekeeper and Aetheon.
A good number of us have the epilogue fully leveled now, so I think we could do Aetheon on hard if we can get the right group together. I mean it's all about crowd control and getting the Minotaurs down ASAP. The tricky part is to make sure that everyone is comfortable being the relic holder since we don't know who will be ported with the new patch. I got my first experience this past week and was fine. If I could get 1-2 dry runs I have no problem becoming the fall back.
The one thing I will add that also a number of us mentioned in the chat, a lot of us will not be comfortable running with a newbie unless he/she does research and has guns that do ~270 damage at least. The DPS is needed and all more so now. Oh, and I want a Gallahorn from Nightfall today soo badly. Seeing Zero do work with it yesterday made me jealous of a weapon for the first time.

Same, I ended up getting the thing to make a legendary pike. I now regret it so bad. I never knew that those clusters do SOOOO much damage.

Question - how the heck does one do a Raid? (Dumb ? I know) I'm a level 12 Titan, but haven't seen it as an option yet.

You need to be level 26 (recommended level 27) to complete the raid. Once you hit level 20, 24, & 26 ( I believe) you will get more options to show for things you can do (strikes, raids, etc)

The 5 strikes without dying took me longer than it should have last night. Was messing around and we were under the platform killing the Archon Priest and I shot my rocket launcher and killed myself under it

I don't know how feasible this is for tonight's nightfall. There has to be another rock to hid behind I feel. Oh **** and I just realized, we have to run this 3 times today :x

And yea Raid is preferably at 27. But you need to get a legendary weapon or exotic primary. with good secondary and heavy weapons. Once you hit ~25-26 run nightfall with some NTers, there are plenty and stick with them. It makes it easier to run things when you are with the same people. You know each others habits and well you also spec your class to benefit the group rather than just yourself.
