Lol, I'm sitting on 40+ shards because the damn raid won't give me raid gear and only gives me weapons and shards. Also the daily keeps giving me them too. Same with Strange Coins. I need Energy/Raid Armor.

I'M THE OPPOSITE, I HAVE TONS OF WEAPONS AND ARMOR THAT ARE STARVING FOR ENERGY AND SHARDS. GOT MOST UPGRADES UNLOCKED ALREADY, JUST NEED THE SHARDS OR ENERGY TO UPGRADE LEVEL UP

A good way to get shards too is to build up vanguard/crucible marks and then buy armor from them and break them down. This is assuming you've unlocked both to level 2 and 3 for weapons. I did that a few weeks ago to get to level 29. Also doing duplicate exotic bounties and then breaking them down. It's happened to me 3+ times. And by far the most effective is getting bad luck in the raid and getting shards/energy over and over again. I wish I was in your position. You've got the hard part out of the way having all armor/weapons you need.

YEA I'VE DONE THE BREAK DOWN METHOD A FEW TIMES. THE PROBLEM IS YOU GOTTA GRIND FOR THE MARKS REQUIRED TO PURCHASE THE GEAR TO BREAK DOWN. CRUCIBLE MARKS ISN'T BAD SINCE I LOVE CRUCIBLE AND PLAY IT ALOT BUT THE VANGUARD IS PRETTY MUCH TORTURE FOR ME. THAT'S WHY WHEN I SAW THE 25 STRIKES NEEDED FOR BAD JUJU, I SAID "NOPE, I WON'T EVER HAVE THAT GUN" :lol:

PRETTY MUCH MY BEST METHOD IS FARMING PUBLIC EVENTS AND THE DAILY STORY. CAN BE SO DRAINING THOUGH WHEN YOU DON'T GET ANYTHING AT THE END OF A PUBLIC EVENT BUT USUALLY I GET ONE ASCENDENT SHARD OR ASCENDENT ENERGY UPON COMPLETION.
 
Yeah definitely not a fan of the Thorn because of the damage but I know that has a lot to do with not having the DoT. Without it, it's useless in PvP. Tried to level it up by I got an Exotic Scout Rifle that I'm enjoying a lot both PvE and PvP.

And what's awesome about the Titan Striker super is that even when you kill them in the animation, they don't lose the super unless they fully complete it, so you'll have it when you respawn.

I got an exotic from last week's nightfall but it was the helm I already have. Gave me 3 shards when I broke it down

That hand cannon though! Arc damage cannon doing work on this strike.

Apparently Fatebringer only drops from the Templar on hard mode though.

 
Just got to level 28.5. Down to a raid. Before anyone I played with says anything I found my stock headset that came with my ps4 so I'm good to go now lol.

Usually on between 7-12pm (pst)

Got the hidden chest from the raid...guy that showed us they way told us he got his vex from that chest doing the raid on normal
 
ehhhh....I'm going to have to call BS on that one. I can't see that Vex in a chest and on normal at that. If so though......show me where that damn chest is

that's what he told us.to get the chest you have to kill the templar with out letting it teleport
 
got the hawkmoon hand cannon for beating nightfall :smokin

was pretty tough but theres guides out there on how to solo it if you don't want to play with other people
 
Titans. Be mindful of where you are popping that shield super. Had an idiot put it right over a mob of Vex on a public event on Venus. 3 of them were able to safely sacrifice the self at the conflux because no one could do damage to them while they were in the shield. Smdh.

Also was hilarious that I helped a raid team from the spire on Vents patrol. I entered the vault with them thinking I could grab the first chest. Nope. But then I made my way back and the door was closed so I had to wait for another team to open it from the outside. They were surprised to find a dancing hunter waiting for them behind the door to the Vault of Glass. Hilarious.
 
I'm working on the nightfall now, and it ain't too bad with only 2 of us, we could easily finish if we had a 3rd man ...PSN quadbaby if you wanna join.
 
Ok I'm lying, this is hard as hell with only 2 people. :lol:

Lmao. Btw I checked my vault on the companion app and it seems like I have an arc damage super rifle but it's blue and it does 232 damage lol. So to use my 289 damage solar with Ammon refill or my 233 blue with arc.
 
Patience and Time sniper and the Found Verdict shotgun both have arc damage and I have both.
