I would never even think to have switch to that chest piece to give me 2 more grenades right away like that. Some of these guys are pretty clever to think of these things, but it is so much easier just to beat him the normal way.
@Quad , what setup you going to go with to level to 300 and use for the raid?
With the guns you have, and the position that they have you in the raid, I would go with these weapons:
VoC
IceBreaker / Fusion Rifle (void if possible)
Unfriendly Giant (as well as Truth)
Since they have you up top for the Oracles and conflux parts, I would go with the Scout and IB for those parts. You need those void launchers since you defend the sync plates on the Gatekeeper though.
Get that glimmer up and buy some heavy ammo syn packs too!
I was telling them, Quad Jr, is def like the little brother of the group with stories, dazing off, and us picking on him. When he gets the Biggie disappointment sigh though
He was about to have a fit when he said he only had 2 ammo packs and left his scout rifle in the vault

the VoC, IB, and the Truth will be the first. There's only one more upgrade on my IB, so after the IB then I'll max out the P&T since there is 4 upgrades left on that one.He's definitely the little brother of the group since he's the youngest and I'm the uncle since I'm probably the oldest out everybody.
The only people who give my nephew a hard time is @jbc908 bka Based Wolverine and @Biggie62 .. the infamous Biggie sighs drive him absolutely crazy.

I didn't know you were the oldest. I think we were talking about it the other day though in chat about everyone's age. I think myself, Biggie, Zero and someone else were the next group (26-28 range). I guess that would make sense since you have a nephew that is old enough to play and almost out of high school. Granted, I was in school with 2 guys were the nephew was older than the uncle
That is hilarious that the Biggie sigh gets to him like that. Meanwhile I am over on my end dying of laughter because every time Quad says something I can sense the tension in Biggie building up

I was able to solo the nightfall 2x times yesterday while I was getting the Pocket Infinity bounty done. Also ran it with Biggie and Zero 2x later on after the raid. Hit me up this evening if you are on. I can help you out with it. If someone else needs it and has arc weapons, they can join on in as well. It shouldn't take too long.

As long as its hard mode then you'll be good for the double roll twice ...You know what tho, I would trade 2 pieces of raid armor for a Gjallarhorn, hell i'd do 3 pieces and not even think twice about it.

I'm still 28. It sucks, made to the end twice and the wave of fallen right before the priest is released is where I died. Only arc weapons I have are the epitap(not maxed) and a rare launcher

I'm down to run that nightfall. Level 27 Titan. Have a machine gun and sniper rifle that do arc damage.

The Fatebringer does arc damage so if you got one maxed out, nightfall is a cakewalk. I need to do nightfall and weekly with both characters.
