Destiny Thread (Bungie) - 9/9/14

Do those missions take place on the same 4-5 maps? I'm pretty done with running through them again and again

You'll need to have a team of friends as raids don't support matchmaking, and Bungie warns it's unlikely you'll complete the mission in one go, so be prepared to progress in portions. While you can enter the vault at any time, if you do take a break during the raid your party has a one week limit to resume the mission, and you have to follow the same team leader back into the vault."
 
Glass of Vault is 6 man co-op mission ...always wanted more than 3 dudes in my fire team.

This! At least have the option for 5 man groups for missions.

Maybe that is another one of those in the future we will have options or something

So you only have one week to complete the Raid and if you dont complete it in a week, you have to start all the way over with the raid. Plus the fact you have to have the same fireteam leader every time you enter the Vault is crazy, and if you enter the vault with a different fire team leader, you have to start over since its a new leader ......am I understanding this correctly?
 
Pretty much it sucks that it's like that, i got this week off so i need to get my ish to lvl 26 as soon as possible

It is pretty standard for raids to be somewhat like that. It has to reset eventually. It isn't going to keep that checkpoint forever.

The only thing is the squad leader having to be on there or you can't go in the raid with another group kinda sucks. I can see why though...The initial 6-man team goes in and stops right before the last fight. They then all leave the raid, and get their own 6 man groups, and each go in there and kill the last boss. Now, what, 36 people "killed the boss" but only 6 actually went through the entire raid

Im a level 20 Warlock.. is there a level 20 warlock armor vendor anywhere or am I just buggin ?
 
Where is Mercury, are we ever going to talk to the Traveler, whats up with the favor we're gonna have to do for the Exo's in the Reef?

Also, there are Mercury, Asteroid belt, Jupiter and Saturn as other locations. Dunno if those will be DLC later, or what.

Yea, the crucible people in the tunnel sell armor but you need to have alot of crucible marks and be level 2 or 3 depending on which armor, basically play more crucible lol

Like said the Crucible sells armor pieces for each class. Also, you can go to the Vanguard Class person that we get our initial missions from and they sell armor pieces for that particular class as well. Just like you need Crucible rep to get the pieces, you need Vanguard rep to get the class pieces as well.
 
Don't know if it's been posted but a clan has finished the raid. They died a total of 1600 times lol.
