Most of us were running with the VoC or the Fatebringer last night and then combos of GGhorns, IB, Truths, Hezens, CMes. I might try out the Thunderlord this time out for our 2nd clear. And the occasional solar fusion rifle. You typically don't want to be anywhere close to any mob other than a thrall, and even then you better be quick to take him out. Best fusion i used and compared my solar Perun to my Foil from VoG, the foil was better even with the slightly slower charge time due to the glass half full perk and most of all, the 95 impact rating that was able to stagger the Knights.

The only shields inside the raid are solar. No need to worry about arc. Now for nightfall I heard that it's all Arc shields.

nightfall is mostly arc, shanks and wizards still have solar shields

Fatebringer is OP in the night fall. Bring atleast one solar weapon to break a couple shields tho.

I was using a void heavy machine gun for the VOG but I switched to rocket launchers since DLC cause these hive mobs are insane.

As long as you're not playing it by yourself it's fun.

That's how I got into WoW... I was in college and 3 of my hall friends started playing. At the same notion, you can go too hard and burn out. All about finding that balance. Saw people ruin their lives and burn out playing that game. One main reason I stopped... Realized I had a 1/3 of an actual year invested with another dlc on the way that would easily last me another year :smh:

Right now it's just the excitement of being new that got everyone playing so much right now.

Really with the 300% damage boost I would think that the arc damage would be better than any solar weapon. I guess good thing that I run with 2 people that have ballerhorns :lol:
 
anyone stilL need to do the new missions to unlock nightfall and weekly ? I'm planning to do those in a little bit
 
Did someone in here say that they ran the VoG last night and got an upgraded Vex, not the 323 damage buffed version, but a rexurbished version?

323 is the Max. Vault is still giving 300 level exotics.

Finally level 30 :smokin . My bad Peesnid i had to bail forgot i had to travel to the airport :lol: :smh:. Stupid Vault of Glass gave me the same warlock chest piece twice when i don't
need it.

anyone who needs to do the nightfall and weekly ? i will be later tonight 8.30 or 9 Est

Bungie needs to fix that ammo sythn glitch, it still occurs.

Should be 31 within a few minutes of logging in tonight to push Crota's **** in :nthat: #TMT

Got the musket, aka sniper primary, from the nightfall. Nightfall is a bit annoying this week, but great for glimmer farming.
 
3 people from TST are now equipped with level 31 gear as well. The next couple weeks of raid attempts should be awesome.
