No doubt but if even men are getting raped at such an alarming rate it doesn't bold well for more women joining the military. It's been brought up but I don't even want to imagine all of the unreported rapes.
Also I don't think the military is going to seriously address their rape problem any time soon. So which would you prefer? Risk it or pursue a different path if you want to join the armed services?
Granted I probably should've said this is a good reason for women to not want to join the military.

As far as that power and control, attraction think. I'm assuming here but I'd also lean to these ppl doing it for the power and control first more so than attraction. There's most likely rapists that get off on the thrill of rape, the fact that they're subjecting another person to their will and that would get them up to commit the sex act. Finishing at that point is all just how biology, how your body would naturally function in the repetitive motion of sex but I'd say what the guy mentioned in the vid not as seriously about being a percentage of gay plays some factor if you were to talk about sexual orientation. Although trying to understand ppl like that requires deep knowledge on the various topics.
I just kinda think this isn't a there's a whole lot of gay rapists in the military but more so rapists that'll rape anybody and are just looking to oppress a person in that manner.

Them dudes don't play. Could be a group thing but really all it takes is a higher ranked officer to press you like that. If you fight back or even beat him up if dude is really corrupt you in for a world of hurt and then you getting raped anyway.
**** be worse than a gang cuz you can't just run, if you do you looking at military jail possibly. Only option left is to report it and hope you get support and once you do that for the ignorant that won't accept it there's the whole snitching stigma.

As a Sexual Assault Response Advocate in the Air Force, there are even more alarming stats than these, like 1 out of every 3 females will be sexually assaulted while in the service. Think about that...
