That's about a 55 yard toss he just made, into double coverage. Set up, and stepping into the throw mind you.
But double coverage. Good thing he doesn't do that often........

Calvin had both dudes beat a few steps though. He has the arm to the make that throw.
I know.
Just like last week he had the arm.
Worked one week, not the next Which is exactly why I said last week, he deserves no praise for that throw, it was a great one, but a stupid decision.
Same decision this time, lesser throw.
I couldn't have asked for a better gif this week to show exactly what I was getting at last week. I thought the still photo with a Bengals team party and Calvin winning the jump ball woulda been enough, but nobody wanted to hear that.

looks like he had the defense beat. if that throw was 3-4 yards deeper it woulda been perfect.

That throw and the Bengals game throw is night and day. He literally threw a hail mail versus the Bengals.
The difference is Calvin Johnson was actually open on that play and he threw a poor pass. If it was Calvin Johnson or Kevin Ogletree if a wide receiver has a corner beat by multiple steps you throw the ball.
