**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

It's cool. Will no doubt take him farther on the radio. Should actually catapult him into legit mainstream status, but the fact that he samples "That Lady" for the beat is just funny.

Listened to this song about 3 times now..Not my favorite from Kendrick but I think the song serves its purpose. This will definitely be in plenty of Movie/ TV advertisements. Definitely a cross-over record with a lot of potential. Im not mad at this song at all. Just imagine him performing this :x ..Lets wait and see what else Kendrick has to offer. Like someone else mentioned, this has that "The Recipe" feel..a sorta warm up track to get everyone talking.

Sidebar, shout out to whoever produced this..good lawd :nthat:

I think it sounds good...

but I can't get jiggy to this.

sounds like something Will I Am will make. You know, those joints he makes specifically to be played on TV.

Yeah this gotta be a Will I Am throwaway track.

Its not bad, but it's definitely a single that will become extremely annoying.....extremely.

First song I'm not feeling by K.Dot..
Love the message but the Isley Brothers Sample just doesn't mesh well.

I don't see this as a single. It feels more like an outro to an album. If this is a regular album cut, I'm excited about the direction of the album.

This new single sound like a Macklemore song bruh

Drake won.

...or are we not doing that anymore?

This joint is ripped off from the Isley brothers but y'all babies don't know about that...

Need to hear the whole album and the placement of this song before I drop my 2 cents....

well sampling is not a new thing in hip hop...

but i kept thinking about this while listening

different but i'm sure it will sound really nice with the live band setup he uses in his shows

how does this song out of them all make you curious?

I wasn't expecting anything sounding like "i" to be on the album, not to mention a single. I'm curious if this is just a standout single for the radio or if his whole album will go in a different direction than I thought after reading about it being more agressive.

This will probably do well commercially but this is just garbage.  Can't say I'm surprised he's taking this approach though.  He was starting to do that with his mediocre debut retail album.

as of right now Drake is way ahead of Kendrick, his music is more listenable IMO. i just have no desire to listen to this new single at all. Kendrick's rap skills are cool but he doesn't have the total package as Drake.
