**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

Kendrick ain't gonna be dropping an album tomorrow
Rumors that he might drop a short movie tomorrow though :nerd:

Copped the physical copy yesterday.

God crankin with the windows/sunroof open on a beautiful Saturday :pimp: "This what God feel like!"

I done smoked like half a zip playing this **** since it dropped..This his second best album behind GKMC.

Fear
DNA
Element
Duckworth
Humble

My top 5 but I'm feeling all the tracks, I dont like the production on YAH but the lyrics make up for it...

"I'm a Israelite don't call me black no more"

Kendrick took Dex lil "Huh" adlib on that God track

Rhianna got off on Loyalty

"What happens on Earth stays on Earth"

The ending of the intro scared the **** outta me for some reason lol

On a side note, what kinda lame *** ***** was Kendrick on in them Compton streets? Getting stomped out in front of moms? Getting your blunt laced with shenanigans? Lol I'm glad my dawg got it together

Went out to smoke a tad, and threw on DNA.

I really had no choice but to keep walking and smoking until the album was done. Haven't been this hooked on a full album in a while.

solid album

but To Pimp A Butterfly is hard to follow up

TPAB is musically too advanced for majority of his fans

I was expecting the next level to

These Walls
Alright
You AInt Gotta Lie
Complexion
Mortal Man

instead I feel its more of if he was to make Overly Dedicated today

that Humble instrumental all throughout the NBA Playoffs highlights/coverage yesterday.....

Thought i was the only one who still likes TPAB the most lol. That album is amazing musically

This album may surpass GKMC to me tho :nerd:

The only time I don't see value in this album as a whole is on my way to work In the morning... i need more upbeat energy in the morning, and besides DNA, Element and Humble, there's not much of that here. BUT everywhere else I'm at, home, gym, after work, walking somewhere, etc.. this album will be one of my go to's

In fact, after work on the ride home yesterday, this album was amazing for that type of mood.. my mind is looking at things in hindsight and trying to gain perspective on how the day went, but also has just enough energy in times where I'm still on a hi from a good day at work.

This is Kendrick's must versatile album. Just beautiful. I'm surprised noone is really talking about Feel, song is so relatable for me. I definitely can hear the mocking/shots in this album. I currently have the hard copy but I'll prolly buy the mp3 so I don't have to upload the album to my computer and on to my phone (lazy  ) and put it in reverse order. I think Kendrick just solidified his legendary status with this album, classic or not.

Top 25? Lol. He been there prior to this. Real talk he top 10. And in my personal top 5

Kool Herc
Afrika Bamabaata (despite his pedo lifestyle)
Melle Mel...

I'm talking about the ground breakers of the genre since 1978.

Idk about you guys but now my favorite track is Duckworth with DNA being a real close second

I'm bumping up my rating to 9 for DAMN. I keep finding more and more details with every listen.
