**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

next weekend will be better for him. The album dropped and the crowd didn't have time to digest it since most people get to the polo grounds on Thursday night. Theyre spending all their time with other music they didn't know much of the new stuff he dropped so its understandable.

I wanted more. Set was too short. Untitled 02 live is [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji]

He should have ended with that Rihanna joint
Hard to fit so many songs in a hour and 15 minute set.
Kendrick would have had an even better set if he was given 2-3 hours.

Fell asleep and woke up late. Started watching when Trav was on so I missed ELMENT. :frown:

Kendrick/TDE still too ***** to bring JAY ROCK out to embarrass Ken on Money Trees

Man I was driving home when Fewtch came out, almost crashed the whip.

has anyone listened to the Ringer's pod on the album??

it's basically 3 dudes ******** on TPAB to boost DAMN.

is this a common thing going around?

This probably the worst of the 3 albums . It's solid though

Too short imo and he sounds like drake in like 3 tracks lol

I finished the pod and see that they're were kind of still wrestling with DAMN. and hadn't fully registered it, by their own admission (kind of makes you wonder why they decided to do it in the first)

the TPAB critque seemed to be centered around the production and basically saying Kendrick was trying to tackle topics he might not be best suited for

and then they said TPAB was still his best album

I think TPAB is too dense a listen for a lot of people. A lot of people don't have it over GKMC but I do because I think his artistry was on another level on that album, though like a lot of you guys there's only a handful of tracks I can listen separate from the album.

Man....This year so far in hip hop. Just great.

Been road tripping like crazy these past few weeekends. Good sounds. And this is now in the rotation :pimp:. 2017 lit!

Do yourself a favor and play LUST. These Walls and LOVE. in order together.

Nothing dense about TPAB.

Artistry

Intelligence

Jazz

Analog

blah blah blah

GKMC is just better

Point blank

the XXX into mAAd City transition last night was special

once all the kinks are ironed out and the set list is locked in they're gonna have an incredible tour set

Nah it's definitely a dense listen. He's paying homage to a lot of old black music and I understand why someone looking for rap wouldn't be super into it.
I'll continue to think it's better than GKMC, feel free to have your opinion that it isn't. Not a big deal.

People just not use to the Jazz and funk sound that's not whats poppin now.

And that's totally cool. As someone that has Parliament-Funkdelic and Miles Davis in their top 5 musical acts ever I loved it
