**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

The energy is different because it was filmed at the Slauson swap meet which is closing.  Huge LA staple and the community is feeling a certain type of way.
It was filmed at the Compton Swap Meet not Slauson. Slauson Swap Meet is in LA proper.
I was about to say, cuz Slauson stays busy, and that wouldnt make sense. Compton swapmeet is, and has been a ghost town for the longest.

Murder is murder. How can he cry/feel sorry about a black man getting killed by a white person when he's about to go kill someone his own color..... All because they aren't a blood/killed his friend for being one etc etc etc

You can try to make it as deep and complex as you want to deny the truth in that but that statement should be said a lot more.

But ah We all see things differently

Murder is murder, just like you said. But police brutality is a totally different story in itself. If it's the people sworn to serve and protect the community, showing injustice, falsely accusing, falsely arresting, and displaying excessive force then its definitely a problem. Just like gang violence.

Kendrick isn't implying you shouldnt cry or feel sorry on whites killing blacks, cuz you should. And you also should when it's blacks on blacks.

I think it was Memorial Day weekend last year when Chance The Rapper tried to raise awareness for fang violence in Chicago and push towards peace, the city went I think like 48 hours without a murder, and sadly that was a bit accomplishment for Chicago on the regular murder rate that weekend.

Although they stem from different evils, we need to stop the shootings and killings all together.

Wish Kendrick really went off on Bad Blood rmx.
It was just cool.

Dude has two classics under hist belt.
He gets a pass from me.

Honestly I don't think it's bad. I keep trying to like it more, giving it more spins. But I would have to say it feels like it has too much dre influence. unfortunately in a bad way. Dre just hasn't been doing it for me recently I.e. ten years. I'd rank his albums like this; GKMC>Section 80>TPABF>OD. Its not that I don't like it, it's lyrically great its just the production om a few tracks that I haven't been able to get into. Maybe(hopefully) it will grow on me more
