That box really is random as hell though. Guess the fake manufacturers were trying to pull in people who like the recent XI boxes.

Definitely interested in seeing the new V mold. I sincerely hope they're different from the 2011-present one.

Funny enough, the owner (I think) of SneakerWatch is in the know, but the rest of his staff really don't seem to be knowledgeable at all. I'm not even surprised they would carelessly throw a pair of fakes in the mix.

That's wild though, in the past week I've now seen people say that both the V's and VI's aren't comfortable and it's hard to hear because all of my experiences with both models (numerous '00-'07 pairs that I've had over the last 2-3 years) range from decently comfortable to pillow status.

I hope they improve that too, because if the quality is bad, the shape is bad, the price is bad, and the comfort is bad; then what the **** are they actually even doing right anymore? :lol:

they slimmed down the toe on columbia 4's, they'll most likely do it to these.

mj said that the ones he tried on were more comfortable than the originals, but take that with a grain of salt because he could just be trying to sell shoes.

midsole material has also been said to change for longer lasting midsoles.

I had the 2000 version. The tumbled leather was awesome in quality.
i fear the toe box will be boxy like recent years retro V :frown:

$190 is the only price I've heard / seen for the remasters.. Most of the releases left for this year are $185.


Eh, not a big fan of the white metallics.. I'd def take a remastered black metallic 5.. 2x.
 
i still got the first release in the closet, theyre kind of beat, but i was thinking it would be the perfect canvas if i ever wanted to make a custom pair of j's
 
I think these should be for $170 I think it's kind of much for this CW at least. Not that each CW should have it's own price but I can't see a ton of people paying that for these.

I hope you're right :lol: . I'm sure lots of people will find these "too plain". As long as the quality of the leather is half decent, I'm all in on these, always wanted a wearable, non yellowed pair :smokin . And yes, I know these will yellow in time, I'm good with that, I just want it to be ME making them yellow with wear :lol:
 
!These are a definite cop for me.  I've always loved the V's.  Might have to get 2 pair so I can keep em crispy!

Yep.. Over $200 in states with tax. It's getting easier to pass on the mediocre CWs with the new price point.
 
THESE WERE DOPE BACK IN 2000… SOLD GRADUALLY IN NYC… I WONT BE COPPING THO… AS I SAID IN ANOTHER THREAD, I CANT KEEP BUYING KICKS I DONT ABSOLUTELY NEED.. THIS COLORWAY IS SUPER BASIC LOL AND AS OTHERS SAID.. AT 200 ITLL BE VERY EASY TO PASS… THATS RIDICULOUSLY HIGH
