I honestly think she been successful because of him
Like I mean behind the scenes stuff
Putting her up on game and stuff like that
Like if u write a song for her I think u give up the rights or something
or she is given credit as a writer as well or something

Nah son, you underselling Beyonce BIG TIME. She outgrew Destiny Child and had her solo album out before Jay. She was on her way up and no one understood why she was dating a rapper that was slowly looking like he was headed toward the decline.

Dude is one of the biggest selling artist. Selling out shows and going platinum and ****...and your saying he's not relevant? Lol. I don't even think some of you know what that means.

I'm far from a Jay fan,antidope , can attest to that, but i think you guys are going a little overboard with things now
I overstated what I think of Jay. He still drops verses like his verse on "Seen It All", but they are few and far in between. In fact, it's a surprise anytime I hear a good Jay verse and my expectations are even lower for his albums.

When they got married, she was on top of the world, and Jay was on his way down. Their marriage respawned homies dominance in not only hip hop, but music.
And then he dropped WTT with Ye. While also being on Rihanna records...
The only reason Jay is "bigger" than Drake right now, is because he's Mr. Knowles.

Wayne was burning everything up at that period. And Drake was just about to blow. Jay got that life support, and ran with it. I ain't eem mad at homie.
With that said, I won't be checking for this.
I do however hope he drops a solo project after.

I think a lot of ppl like to think that since they dont mess with an artist, and their 5 friends dont mess with an artist equals the whole world not rocking with that artist lol
Jay is super relevant, and in comparison between Beyonce on who is more relevant who knows, I honeslty have no problem saying her.
But the fact that you can actually make a discussion or talk about anybody being relevant to her kinda says a lot about Jay's overall relevancy.....
Think a lot of rappers wouldnt mind that type of comparison/conversation....

They met during blueprint 2. Blueprint 2 did 3 million. Jay gotta be the only rapper to be destroyed in a hip hop battle and still flourish afterwards. Black album did 3 million. How was he on his way down? Does anybody remember how wack and pop destiny child got right before Beyonce went solo. That group was on there way out. Beyonce is known as a pop star and jay gave her edge. She took that and became one of the biggest artist of this generation. Beyonce benefited from jay and jay benefited from beyonce. That weird dynamic of this girl from the suburbs dating this ex drug dealer gave her a pass to make them ratchet songs. You saying Destiny's Child was "wack and pop" may not be wrong but you're missing the point.
The "pop" is what made Beyonce LARGE. Survivor came out in 01. Blueprint 2 came out in 02.

Beyonce was always the ONE in Destiny's Child. Them ***** might as well have all been solo records.
