Nike Zoom Hypercross Trainer

I took a risk when I bought them off on finishline.. They had the actual grey picture up but the style code was the one for the black turquoise pair. I got the black and turquoise pair when I received my package. :smokin

They gave you bad info.  Posted the link a while back after I ordered them.  I can confirm i received the black and turq.  I might be returning mine.  Wore them for 1/2 hour around the house.  Not comfortable at all.  Not what I expected from a trainer.

Oh yea, saw that a while ago but the customer service reps insisted that the grey and turquoise would be the pair you received and not the black ones so i'm a little hesitant.

I tried these on today at fnl. No heel zoom. Had high hopes for this shoe but will def pass. I wonder why no heel zoom for men but the woman's version appears to have it Is it because most Guys who cop do for style so nike cut corners but the girls will actually use them for training so they put in a heel unit?

I think its because these are trainers and the womens, I guess, are runners - based on the name. I'm guessing for certain activities with the trainers, if you put a protruding zoom bag in the heel it will affect the stability?

I don't think so. The new lebrons have a zoom bag in the heel with a similar sole. The flyknit racers that NT loves are "runners" and have nothing in the heel. The woman's fit agility is being marketed as a cross trainer. All very interesting

You're not supposed to heel strike while running, and considering these are trainers, heel zoom isn't beneficial for lifting weights either, so that makes sense

The Lebrons have different structural support for stability though; whereas these are just low top trainers with fuse and flywire. Since the womens are also trainers then I don't know other than they want to market it for different activities.

Either way, I doubt Nike is doing it to cut corners for the guys on the basis that guys will buy it for looks. Considering that Nike is marketing this as new technology in terms of cushioning, their intended market segment are those who are performance minded over the causal wearers.

The Nike Flyknit Zoom Agility brings together two of Nike’s most innovative technologies—Flyknit and Zoom Air—to create a training shoe that delivers the flexibility, strength and quickness athletes desire. The Flyknit upper acts like a second skin, allowing the foot to move as nature intended. Designers looked to mirror the upper’s flexibility with a flexible application of Zoom Air in the outsole. The Zoom Air bags are placed in hexagonal rubber pods and strategically positioned to provide cushioning and responsiveness where the female athlete feels the most pressure underfoot. The Nike Flyknit Zoom Agility will be available beginning Feb. 12, 2015.
