Nike Zoom Hypercross Trainer

The black/turquoise pair can be bought at sports authority for 20% off. That was enough for me to give them a shot.

. They look pretty gender neutral to me.

definitely gender neutral .. every Multicolor flyknit ever released so far has been gender neutral

the only i could see not being that way are the MC Racers (which i just think the entire Racer model is ugly)

im sure everyone will disagree

Naaa Im with you on that. The front is was too wide. I think the multicolor trainers are the best multicolor shoe out there.

These new joints are right behind them. No one will even know its a female only shoe.

I thought I was the only one who didn't like the MC Racer.  I just thought the color combination they used didn't go well together.

Whereas the MC Trainer, I think those are really nice.  I think the fact that there is more pink present makes the transition smoother.

The Agilitys are nice, but being women's only, I won't even have a chance to wear them.

whats deal on da price of these... i see them going from $140 to $120... now back to $140?

I see dudes do it all the time.

Retro Js and Roshes being perfect examples.

But those are unisex shoes in womens colorways. These are shoes designed for women. The description of the shoe says "The Zoom Air bags are placed in hexagonal rubber pods and strategically positioned to provide cushioning and responsiveness where the female athlete feels the most pressure underfoot." I think in general, womens shoes are more narrow than mens.

mint/black or volt???? I feel like volt is nearing the end of its run... any thoughts?

You're not supposed to heel strike while running, and considering these are trainers, heel zoom isn't beneficial for lifting weights either, so that makes sense
Says who?  I'm not the greatest runner in the world but even class leading runners have heel, mid and fore foot strikers.  Don't believe me?  We have shoes specially made for heel strikers and its actually acceptable form of a runner.  Now do "Pro" try to correct this?  Yes as many say mid foot action is for the best but a vast majority of runners will heel strike.

this thread isnt really the place for a running technique debate, but heel striking is the most strenuous on the body, and before large heels were added on sneakers, people didnt heel strike. There is a reason Nike now pushes the Free, hyperfeels, and other brands are pushing their barefoot runners. Sure great runners heel strike, but that doesnt make it good for your body.

Yes but it isn't wrong either as most of the barefoot/minimalist bs movement has died down.

You can still properly run as a heel striker

No, before the 1970s when the traditional running shoe was made, people did not heel strike. Running shoes completely changed the human gait

Copped teal colorway yesterday hope they fit well or they get returned asap
tts is a bit snug...

at first the bumps on the soles were a bit annoying.. after a few hours of wear I don't even notice them.. hoping after a few days of wearing the toe box stretches..

So people didn't heel strike before large heels were added to sneakers?
You can believe the whole "minimalist" movement yellers that you shouldn't.  Or listen them that no human ever heel strike every in human history till shoes became a thing...

Either ways what I'm saying is that heel striking is a acceptable form of running and the vast majority of people run this way.  It wouldn't have been that big of a deal to include a zoom unit near the heel like the Lebron 12.  If it was taken out for cost than sure, fine I'll deal.  However it would've been nice and cool to have one.
