Nike Zoom Hypercross Trainer

If anyone can chime in on how these perform for running.

Using the Pegasus 30 for running and Free 5.0 to train. Would be nice to have just one shoe for both.

They really aren't and it doesn't feel like their is heel zoom

The Zoom pads are revolutionary, they are just more met bags

How do these feel compared to lunar TR 1? Have you tried them?

I don't have the Lunar TR

All I can say these shoes aren't some game changer the way the Nike marketing video is hyping them up to be

I was disappointed....I am a Nike fanboy but these are more hype than anything

I know some will not listen or disagree and this is fine, go buy them and decide for yourself

This is a discount down the line type model

Disappointed in some of these reviews, but I wasnt expecting too much, techs not that new, as others have said. I think the Jordan 21 had something very similar. Good looking model though

I have the TR 1. Tried these on yesterday at my local Nike store and I was very underwhelmed. The TR1 feel better in every way: stability, fit, cushioning, you name it.

Meh, TR1 arent that great either. Free Trainer 5.0 >>>

Had the TR1 and returned it the next day.

I think these are comfortable and very responsive to be honest. Although I haven't done anything in them yet but walk

Thought when I come back from weekend trip I would be able to cop the turquoise cw. Sold out

I really like the Volts and I didn't think they would pretty much saleout on NDC.

I'm pretty sure my local FNL will pop with them, but I'm not 100% sure. Anybody else local spots have them in?

Volts FSR on FNL and eastbay... I'm pretty sure you can find a code somewhere for both sites... These are not excluded on eastbay... depending on the feel, i might pick up the black pair from eastbay...

Depends how far you are thinking of running.

I have done two 2 hour training sessions which included mostly running (shuttles, game play, drills) and didn't feel any negative effects. I wouldn't want to run any major distance in them though i don't think.

I think it is all down to personal preference. I agree it isn't a game changer, it never was going to be (at least in my eyes).

Until you try the shoe yourself its pretty difficult to make a judgement off a few peoples impressions. Everyone likes different things in a training shoe.

I'm thinking these sell outs are coming from low inventory due to problems in production based on similar issues Nike is having with the Lebrons which have been delayed. I imagine we will see some big restocks once they work out the quality control issues they seem to be having with the new tech.
