Nike Zoom Hypercross Trainer

Had the chance to try on a couple of pairs yesterday from NDC that I ordered.  I liked the teal/black color the best but I was underwhelmed with the fit and the feel.  Now granted some break in may help but they are likely off my list for workout shoes although I may give them another shot as I really want to like them.  I was looking forward to these but meh seems like just another shoe that had a lot of hype attached to it.  The ones I have from NDC are getting returned.

soo i ordered my pair 2 days ago from ftl.. i saw it was backordered and ship date was the 15th.. now i got an email saying possibly 2 weeks.. *****?

everyone who has rec'd their pairs has been thru ndc ?

What are you looking for in a shoe? The LT1's have superior traction and stability, while the Hypercross has better and more responsive cushioning but the stability is definitely a little off. If you are doing more weightlifting and plyometrics, I would go with the LT1. If you are doing stuff like running drills, cones, speed training, I would go with the Hypercross. Just my humble opinion.
All great choices man, but as I said to the other member, just depends on what you are looking for. All four of those are pretty different in execution. To be honest, the Hypercross is half hype, half good trainer. The Free Trainer 5.0 and LT1 are better shoes IMO and are cheaper.

It seems like the tr1's are the better choice for me, thanks for the feedback. I'll probably end up picking up the Hypercross for work

Free Trainer 5.0 > TR1

They feel more stable, lower to the ground and dont have that flimsy tongue. I returned my TR1's after literally one day.
 
Anyone else's Finshline already have these on sale?

To echo everyone's else's sentiment the best way to describe this shoe is 'underwhelming.' When I first saw pics of these I was expecting a lot more from the hex zoom air. They felt good but I just through there would be more.

volts still sitting atm? might cop. i was a bit scared this would be another flyknit trainer when i saw my size was out on ndc.
 
So the general consensus are that these are a flop if you were looking for an elite, groundbreaking performance shoe? I just like how these look so i'll scoop the black silver pair for the gym when I can get em for below retail

i jus copped of footlocker da other day.. shipment jus went out today.. might hang on to them see if price drops.. return them and cop at discount price.

I would say so. Got the black/tortoise pair and the shoe feels pretty stiff to me, and not all that comfortable. I still think they look good and I was able to get them for about $115 so it's w.e.
 
Was looking forward to these but reviews don't sound very good for these....might have to just get a pair of frees or the LR1 instead

LOL already marked down after just releasing.  They probably have a huge stock of these things like they were supposed to be the next big thing....whoops
 
^, Yeah its funny to see them with the huge red "new!" and then above it, slashed out with :"now: $119.99."
