Listen to the news, and it would seem black people are screwing up.
I'm not stupid enough to see it like that, and if I didn't live in the Midwest, in the Bible belt, I wouldn't even bring it up.
But I guarantee there are people out here paying attention to these stories like "See? They're animals."
And that's what's aggravating, the fact that these portrayals succeed in swaying opinions.
Am I to believe the worst story of a white person acting out of line... is Peyton's brother doing whatever he did that got like 2 seconds of coverage early this morning?
And if you seek to tell me this ISN'T damaging, save your post. I want to see who else sees it, what anyone tries to do about it, studies on racially biased media coverage; dialogue about a huge problem.
