Kanye West - Graduation appreciation vol. yes I know, thread has been made before -__-

I love Drunk & Hot Girls. Matter fact the one track I disliked on Graduation for YEARS was Stronger...only now can I tolerate that song

don't let @Deuce King  see this thread he might cry...

any way, Can't Tell Me Nothing/Stronger/Flashing Lights

how the hell do you manage to have so many anthems on one album?!

Tell me ya'll haven't drove around in the city at night blasting Flashing Lights,

Graduation was always eh to me. Not a ton of songs on there I really like, and contains the non 808s song that I dont like the most: Good Life.

There are some good songs on there though

my feelings exactly. EXACTLY. Even the cover is off to me. I like it, but not for a kanye album.

Good Morning
Can't tell me nothing
and I have no clue why they didn't use the og verson of Home w/ John Legend.
and it's a crime against humanity that they left off bittersweet.

are the only songs that I really rock with.

Glory and everything I am are cool too.

matter of fact, if the album consisted of those 6 tracks ONLY, it would probably be my favorite ye album. those of some of my favorite songs of his of all time.

CD>MBDTF>LR>G>808>You ain't got the answers Sway>George Bush doesn't care about black people>his last album with no cover.

Edit- just listened to can't tell me nothing for the first time in about a year :wow: :wow: :x the beat, the lyrics :smh: my son.

Negative @GInfante.  If ever I might cry, it would have been for your infamous asinine statement below.  Instead of crying though, I just laughed repeatedly at your statement and wanted the rest of the NT family to get a good laugh at your expense by continuing to quote it.

Back to the topic at hand, this is probably the last real album from Kanye West, ghost writers and all.

@Deuce King  you still on that?
I say why not champ.  As the quote says, it's the asinine statement of the MONTH.........the month my man.  Not of the day, or of the week, but the month.  With that being said there are still a few days left in the month of September so I say let it ride.  Besides, I know how upset you were the day I started it, so it means that much more to me that it upsets/bothers you the way it does.  In other words, if you are having a bad day, I"m having a good day.  Now that's the Good Life

Exactly.  He should have known, he tried to antagonize a lion in the jungle.

  Real tears whenever I see Deuce King post now.

You should do that every month

@Deuce King  we both in the DMV, we gonna sit and talk about your obsession with Hov, I'm curious at this point

In return deuce ask about his obsession
with drake

What obsession with "Hov"/Jay are you referring to.  This thread is about Kanye and my last few posts in this thread and even directed directly towards you have been about Kanye.  Not sure why you are trying to divert attention away from the topic at hand which would be about Kanye West/the Graduation album, or even YOUR obsession with Kanye West.  Why do I say obsession with Kanye West, just look at your direct quote below and tell me objectively (key word objectively) who has an obsession with who and reason being.

I have over 15,000 posts on Niketalk since the day I logged on for the first time.  Feel free to dig threw all the archives and find a post or posts that would lead you to believe that I have an "obsession" with "Hov"/Jay. I don't even think I have referred to him as "Hov" ever on the boards here but that's another story.  Again, feel free to find one or more posts from me in regards to an "obsession" because best believe I have a direct quote from you that would suggest an obsession with Kanye West.
In return deuce ask about his obsession with drak
That's a good question.  @GInfante  what say you??

@Deuce King  everyone on here knows you get on whoever differs your opinion...so what I like Kanye, Drake, and even Jay? I'm a fan...

with that being said...if I feel that way about Kanye and his performances, it clearly struck a nerve in you that you had to stick that sig on every post you have, and it was all my opinion, you know, something people are entitled to, even you.

Drake? you can read MY old posts and see that even I criticize his work a lot, if I were a stan, I'd adsorb everything he puts out...

I can be as much as a critic as you, just don't come at me when I have a different opinion.

I don't mind someone that has a different opinion than mines.  Some people like Jay, some like Kanye, some like Nas, some like Drake.  More power to all involved.  Now back to you champ, in regards to your quote of the month you stated it as a FACT.  You didn't state it as an opinion.  If you really wanted to state it as an OPINION you should have said......."In my opinion after watching the Made in America performance..."  Do you get that??

See champ, as a man you're either going to build or destroy.  Sure I can destroy you or your falsified statement, but believe it or not I would much rather build you up to be better and more importantly POST better than you did before courtesy of yours truly.  That is why you were added as the asinine statement of the month. Right now you and others should be doing any and everything to make sure you don't make the asinine statement of the month for next month.  That's a category you simply don't want to be apart of.  Not to mention, you somewhat represent the area I'm from.  Although I'm more D.C. opposed to DMV but we'll save that for later.  Right now it's about you my friend and where you want to go in regards to Niketalk and how you are viewed.  This is your crossroads, either you're going to step it up or you're going to be seen in the lights below as far as quotes go for quite awhile.  It's up to you my man.

@Deuce King   it's a damn forum, this ain't career builder lol, not everyone is gonna "carry themselves" how you think they should, and that doesn't mean you are right nor wrong about it...you realllllly go above and beyond to speak like some God-level blogger or something...if you don't like my opinion/fact/whatever you wanna classify it as, then just say so or keep it moving....

to get really technical, you still have yet to tell me one better performer than Ye anyway, whoever you think so (and you better not say Jay

)

build or destroy? son, it's Niketalk...we're all hiding behind screenames...stop it.

Just goes to show folks, you can bring a horse to water but you CAN'T make him drink it.  I tried to put my man onto game but he declined. Nothing I can do about that.  He should have been more receptive, he should have listened to good mentoring like Goldie after he came home in the movie The Mack.  With that being said, I'm talking over him right now with that so I'll keep it as basic as possible going forward.

As far as better performers than "Ye"/Kanye.  Easily I say Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Justin Timberlake as far as current performers.  Not saying that Kanye is anywhere close to those performers but you asked for names and I provided some for you.
