So i sold some jordans on ebay , and when the buyer got the kicks i suddenly had an email from paypal saying that the buyer was trying to do a chargeback by saying that he did not authorize the payment , kinda weird cause the guy has 95 feedback and its 100% positive feedback .

Have any of you have had these problem ?

Paypal just told me to post the tracking number and i dont know when i will get an answer

any help is appreciated !

Nah sorry
I'm 3 for 3 with ebay right now.
I intend to keep it that way

Oh allright bro yeah its the first time these happens to me
But thanks man ! Hope everything works my way

You're done. money is gone unless you intend to take it to court. PayPal and ebay are a joke. Thread after thread we try to tell you guys.

I'll say it again, stay away from PayPal and ebay UNLESS you are the buyer or you're selling to an ACTUAL friend, not some guy you think you know online.

With that said I hope things work out in your favor. I ******* hate rat thieves. If it was up to me we'd still have the law where you cut one of their hands off.

You should always write a message on ebay to buyer after bidding is over and they pay that you'll ship whenever payment gets posted or within 2 days that way buyer writes to you and he can't pull this

^ what you post on the auction is NOT a binding contract. The only rules that need to be followed are ebays. If I post "absolutely no returns" on my acution the buyer can still get a refund based on ebays rules

I can help you. I was a powerseller for 3 years. even got invited to eBay powerseller celebrations etc

1. question now is did you follow PayPal shipping procedure meaning did you use there internal shipping/postage, which I don't think you did because you said PayPal asked for tracking...

2.next how much did the Jordan's sell for and what day?

3.did you ship to the buyers confirmed address

4. did you use signature delivery

a note for everyone. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS. use signature delivery..ALWAYS always use PayPal shipping /postage

if you use PayPal shipping hounding need signature delivery unless it's over $250 or something like that

this.

OP, if it was won thru an ebay auction, the buyer paid w/ paypal, and you shipped it to the confirmed address in the buyers detail with a tracking number you will win the chargeback.

if you ended the auction early, shipped to a non confirmed address, accepted payement as gift or shipped w/o a tracking number you are out of luck.

Yep, I just found out about the signature delivery. The last pair of kicks I sold was for $700, and I forgot to get the signature delivery on there :x

Luckily dude lived like ten minutes away, so if he tried something best believe I would have rounded the goons up  I actually tracked his e-mail down from the university database and made him confirm that he got the kicks so if anything happened I would show that e-mail to PayPal.

i was talking to the guy on ebay and he says his account got hacked and that they bought like 800$ worth of things and i think thats bs

he supposedly will call paypal on monday to see what we can do , hope everything works out

will ship with signature confirmation from now on

as you ship items under $250, you do not need signature comfirm, ebay will cover you. Items over $250 then yes

My younger brother contacts a guy on ebay. They agree on two pair of kicks paypal invoice avoiding the seller ebay fees. He sends 600 gets sent back two fake pait of jays. I do a chargeback saying the kicks are fake. I get the money back. I ship back the shoes to the seller he accepts one pair and never signs the second package. Shoes are returned back to my address. The seller files an appeal and wins back 300. So paypal tells me to resend the kicks again we'll see what happens but paypal is a joke
