Nike Roshe Run Sneakerboot "Boxtrolls" with Pics

Ya"ll did some really creative work, nice entries gentlemen

A lot of amazing creations. I really had some amazing concepts in mind but I just couldnt find the time to create them. Seems this takes hours or days if you really want to get creative & crafty.

I favorited & retweeted about 10 which I thought were very great creations. I'm just going to bid on the auctions, hoping these won't surpass the $1,000 mark for size 8.5

Good luck to all.

One hour left for entry!

The submissions from the folks in this thread have been great in my opinion, you guys did an excellent job.  Its obvious that you put a ton of thought and effort into your submissions and i really hope you guys win a pair.

Interesting, i didn't notice Nike's press release being different from the official boxtrolls rules (their misspellings in the release, not mine):

Also, thought I'd give final tally. 881 photos submitted with the hashtag so overall odds are about 1 in 6. Keep in mind there are some duplicates and blatant DQ's so odds are likely much better.

They could notify me 3 months from now and I'd be happy

I really hope they are judging these now and they stopped taking entries when the official rules said they would, which was Noon Eastern time today. People are still posting entries and whatthekicks on Twitter (Dont think it is the same dude from IG) just posted one of my entries from a few days ago as his entry tonight...

Did you tag all your pics? That be som stuff if he won and you didn't I'm sure they aren't taking anymore if there going by rules. But hey for all we know there taking all the entries and picking 144 random Twitter names as the winners we never know what they are doing

i didn't tag most of them, i was unsure based on the rules what was considered "personal information" even though twitter handle wasn't specifically called out as things to not include.  You are right, who knows if they will actually even look at the entries.

Looks like the dude quietly deleted his tweet a bit after i asked, so i am lucky for that.

All i know is that If i were going to steal someone else's entry, i wouldn't have picked mine, there are a ton of better entries out there!  hahaha!

I like these. I just won a pair via auction.

I had no chance with the contest..

i won two pairs, i bid 4 times before i actually won my 1st pair. size 13 was 520 and size 14 was 511. i also entered the contest so i guess we will see if i win a pair.

DAMN Auctions ending at like 400-500$

people relisting these on ebay from $1000-2000

HOLY SMOKES

I couldn't bring myself to click the "Place Bid" button on a size 12, even though i know the proceeds go to charity.  We'll see what happens with the contest.  I really hope no one supports the resellers trying to flip these, knowing that their initial purchase is tax deductible in most states.

Congrats to all who won an auction and supported a good cause.

a lot of resellers don't files taxes though so that doesn't really matter

Resellers are expecting ParaNorman Foam type hype in the aftermarket. It's not gonna happen.

auctions would've ended much higher if that were the case. I still see these reaching a stack and better with time.
