no insight to how nervous this guy might have been in fear of exactly what happened anyways. They are saying he shouldve told the trooper exactly what he was about to do...in those type of situations you are usually scared crapless...especially if you dont know why youre being approached int he first place. He was just trying to do what the cop said as quickly as possible.

i am exhausted beyond words. my faith is going like an hourglass. aside from the personal racism i face with each passing moon, my heart aches for my people in this country. i cry inside at the prolonged silence that follows our momentary anger. i'm tired of tweeting and typing up our outrages... we must fight for our basic human rights. look around the world at the uprisings of people who've suffered injustices for a much shorter time than we have here in this country. palestine/israel. ukraine/russia. egypt/syria. when will we stop being cowards?
it has been centuries that we've been targeted, executed, systemically alienated... and we cry for an hour, then turn around and hug our abusers. these people are without a conscience. without a soul. we can no longer expect white guilt to remedy this problem. when will it stop? when we STAND UP, intellectually, physically, fiscally, collectively nationwide. until this day, best believe this will only get worse... next time it may be YOU, ME, YOUR BROTHER, BEST FRIEND, COUSIN, etc. what then?

The tangent comes from trying to find a solution... Cops labeling citizens, specifically black ones as criminals is akin to citizens labeling all cops as "pigs" and assuming that every one of them is out to put a bullet in a black man.
Either side you look at, it is simply not the case but we've let decades and decades go on with incidents that only make the stereotypes worse.
