"Fuller House" - Netflix (Season 3A Out 9/22!!)

I'm curious if they're going to have a live audience for the new show.

I took the WB studios tour and passed by the studio housing the new set. Wish I had a chance to catch a glimpse...Instead, saw Big Bang Theory's set. That alone was cool, even though I don't really follow the show.

Forgot about bad girl, Gia.

becky and jesse's twin sons aren't on the new show?

Just kill off their characters along with michelle.

I bet they're gonna say Michelle got into the fashion industry and the rarely see her similar to what's going on in real life with the Olsen twins

...or say Michelle succumbed to her horse riding injuries :nerd:

Damn, all them chicks looking good. They aged nicely. Even Kimmy Gibbler looking alright.

I still believe the Olsen twins will make a surprise cameo appearance. They were the most memorable thing about the show.

They should just replace them and try to be better. They'll hear all the backlash but if they can make them better, it won't be so bad.

The Olsen twins were the biggest stars of the show. They can't replace them. Promise any future episode they appear in will be the most viewed program in Netflix history.

FWIW, Stamos was on Stern few days back and said the twins for sure aren't returning and there was a bit of a drama about them feeling they were not wanted....he said they thought when Stamos was making the calls to get the band back together he passed them up on purpose (he didn't) and he then had to try and rectify the situation with them.

Their sister Elizabeth Olsen is better than the twins combined. Would've been better if they could've gotten her.

Haven't seen any info or pics of jesse and becky's twins being on there.

I would be offended if I were the twins as well. They should've been the first ones the idea was pitched to. I heard about the Stern interview as well and how the twins feel like they aren't necessarily actresses anymore but the power of social media and the success of the show will bring them on board, even if it's for one episode.

And where are Nicky and Alex? :nerd: And I was thinking the whole time DJ got married to Steve and had kids. She's widowed and it was some other guys kids but Scott Weinger is back. Probably bout to play step daddy :smh:

Netflix’s ‘Fuller House’ Tried to Get Elizabeth Olsen to Fill in for The Olsen Twins

We’ve known since last summer that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would not be making an appearance on Netflix’s Full House revival series Fuller House. The twins won’t even be making a cameo as the singular child Michelle Tanner, but the character’s absence is said to be explained by the fact that she’s now a fashion mogul in New York City. That’s a nice little nod to the Olsens’ real-life career, which has been cited as the reason for their not getting involved in the new series. Until now.

John Stamos recently appeared on The Howard Stern Show where conversation turned to Fuller House. The actor who plays Uncle Jesse revealed a more humble reason as to why they didn’t end up appearing on the show. Plus, he also reveals what could have been an interesting solution to their lack of involvement.

In the radio interview (via EW), Stamos had this to say about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s decision to stay out of Fuller House:

They seemed very into [Fuller House]; they just were afraid of acting. They hadn’t acted; they don’t consider themselves actresses.

So the twins weren’t necessarily looking to distance themselves from the show that gave them a career or too busy to make it work, but they’re just not confident in their acting skills anymore. After all, they haven’t been on screen much in the past decade. Mary-Kate had a role in Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer, but Ashley’s last role was an uncredited one in the faux documentary I’m Still Here, and that really didn’t require much acting.

There is an Olsen who has been doing a lot of acting though, and that’s the twins’ sister Elizabeth Olsen. Stamos revealed to Sirius XM’s Radio Andy (via ScreenCrush) that executive producer Jeff Franklin actually reached out to see if she wanted to take a role on the show:

We actually went to…I don’t think this has been talked about. I didn’t do it, I think Jeff Franklin did. I said, ‘Call the sister. Ask her.’ We talked to her agent and her agent was like, ‘Come on, she’s not going to do that.’ But we did call her agent.

Indeed, Olsen has quite the flourishing career right now, and to take a role on a nostalgic comedy sitcom on Netflix would be a bit of a step back for the actress. It’s also quite a commitment that could keep her from starring in more movies, especially since she already has a contract with Marvel Studios as Scarlet Witch. So having Elizabeth Olsen in Fuller House just wasn’t in the cards.
