Not even an exaggeration. I did the same thing. Terrible, terrible quality. Only 1s I've ever worn that weren't comfortable.

kinda reminded me of this from big lebowski...
got really lucky..esp. considering it was raining today in the bay. Also the shoes were perfect. and even the nike box (although it was taped up with packaging tape as well!) was perfect..dont know how I got so lucky, pics of the shoes comin later

Honestly it amazes me when people say 2013 Chicago 1 > 2015 Chicago 1s in terms of quality and other things......denial is a crazy summa bihh huh???
Yeah...the quality on the 2013 pair is definitely worse. Though, he did make some good points about getting the shoe when there was "less hype." I have no idea where the hype came from. I've been collecting since 2006 and I am amazed at how popular the 1 is now.
Was it because of freakin' Kanye wearing those bred 1's? Is it because they're finally made with the OG treatment? Is it because they're limited? I just don't understand. They've always been popular in Asia (japan) but not really that much in the U.S. imo...
It does slightly irk me that they're so difficult to cop now. Probably 50% of the people who are on the 1 bandwagon just started these past 1-2 years.

Only a moron would compare the 13's. Those things are painful to wear. Quality isn't even up to par with the rest of 2013 1's. So if someone is saying that, they don't know anything about sneakers and their opinion is worthless.

i know this has probably been covered but i'm expecting mine to come in from the bay and am wondering what is supposed to be inside the shoe?
ive gathered that they come with the laces untied, but are there supposed to be any ankle inserts like the previous 1s? or tissue paper stuffed in the toe? or a cardboard insert for the toe?
