What

If You buy Chicago's because of what the shoes represents, the beginning of MJ's career, the beginning of the best shoe line ever, for the HISTORY of the shoe, you're definitely not a hypebeast. You are a hypebeast if you want a shoe because it's limited and even if you don't like the shoe you still buy it to look cool to other people. Or wear them to take pics for social media then sell them to someone that actually likes them for a ridiculous price.

Not the same at all my friend.
it's my opinion and being a moderator doesn't make your opinion a fact neither......I call history shoppers hype beasts because they need a reason to buy other than simply liking the look of the shoe.

If art thou offers you a frag for a chi 1 + 100 $ and you don't take it not based off of financial reasons, you sir are an IDIOT.
Lol is this old english on purpose?

If so, it makes no sense.  Basically "If are you offers you"

Be careful fam he has the power to banish you  if so

I think that all of us are hypebeasts in our own way, or in some sort of way and/or fashion.

I don't think the term "hypebeast" term is all that bad, it's just the way it is said or how people label other people that make it bad.

Yeah your probably right.

Don't get me wrong I respect your opinion just disagree with it. Me being a mod has nothing to do with anything. All I was doing is giving my opinion and letting you know I disagree with yours.

put in alot of leg work...sucks not living in a state that gets alot of limited drops but im glad I was able to get my pairs and hook my brother up with 1

No he don't need to be carefull, he's not breaking any rules. I'd never ban anyone because they disagree with me or have a different opinion.

hypebeast is the new term for collectors apparently

Here are two definitions of a hype beast I found on urban dictionary:

1.A hypebeast is a slang for someone who is a beast (obsessed) about the hype (in fashion), and will do whatever it takes to obtain that desired hype. The term is meant to be derogatory by ridiculing of such with a lack of style. Hyped up brands sell their products for a price more than the average clothing company and can be seen re-sold along the internet for a price much greater than retail due to the fact that it is either exclusive, or somewhat limited. Yes, even when it was worn.Hypebeasts are very much into sneakers such as Air Jordans and Nike Skateboarding. These shoes are not found in malls and closely resembling areas due to the fact that they are limited. These are bought from others and can range from $100 up to $5,000. And yes, even if they were worn.

Basically every shoe MJ played in has history so yeah your a HYPEBEAST for not knowing that. Even if you like the shoe and that's the reason why you're buying it. So that's a hell of a HYPEBEAST comment you made
