Sucked it up and paid resale, but I'm happy about it. $465 shipped. Hard to find for any less than that from a trusted seller in my size. Luckily, I won $300 from Golden State bets to help fund these.

^^^I know the feels. Had to do the same too. Can't find any $300 or $200 deals.

Can't understand why they just didn't make a huge GR for these. And the Shattered BBs look even worse in production numbers.

I finally unds'd my chi's yesterday yooo was I happy they felt good I went a .5 sz up and they fit perfect I slipped em on after lacing em and they were comfy as ever this is my first adult pair of 1s and they had some good cushioning I'll post a pic later

I think I'm fine [emoji]128521[/emoji]

City Gear is my new favorite spot, picked up 2 pairs of Lasers for $99 from them. They got their Chicago shipment the Friday before release and that was the ONLY day I didn't call them to see if they had them. Guaranteed tickets too, smh.

Are you between sizes 8-10? Anything bigger could be had for much less.

where? size 11 here. gave up and moved on to the next 1's bc scared of fakes and not paying 400+ for kicks.. i have only been coping on NDC so no luck since high profile shoes not dropping there anymore lately.

If anybody needs a size 14, you should check Ebay right now. Someone has a size 14 at $400 BIN. You may be able to get a little better deal if you message them for a PP deal.

If you paid retail for the Foams, then it's decent. $250 + tax + $120 looking around $400 give or take.

This.

Before taxes, those Chi's are basically costin you 370. Depending on the size, that's not bad. Members here are reporting coppin pairs 380-480 range.

The GF Foams were purchased at retail.
I was thinking along the same lines as far as cost of Foams + cash adding up to around $385, which would be a decent price. I don't want to wait any longer as far as Shattered Backboard trades next week potentially stealing the last of my size that are out there, regardless of another release.

Rock em not stock em... took me awhile to unds but i finally did yesterday. they were worth every penny at retail thankfully not resale but i would have. ima keep these forever I got no creases and minor dirt on em just a wipe down and they were good.

So my deal fell through. The seller (who might be on here) has bad creasing on the heel of the left shoe. He's at least being a stand up guy and allowing me to get a refund.

^Dang they supposedly ghost dropping?

either that or expect some pairs in stores when sbbs arrive (ask associates)

or nike should announce. its become a problem solving assignment buyin nikes/js these days. thats what people call putting in work

@lewi1913 if its a subtle outline or subtle red outline, it may be a rare sign or just some unnoticed quality control thing.

same with the L's, its just that on gms it looked messy and on real pairs the bottom is nice smooth and tightly pressed together and neatly made so if there were L's on the real pair bottoms they look ordered and proper. i see your bottoms look uniform, that's good.

On gms you can tell the difference, it looks messy.

the fakes usually have more than 1 obvious problem/difference that's noticeable,

your pairs, beside the stitching which may be rare, is real imo.

authentic points:
  • good toe box curve angle
  • size sticker
  • Nike swoosh logo on bottoms are neat and uniform
  • Nike swoosh air logo on tongue touch bottom
  • tongue slits are visible
  • production date matches my jimmy jazz

Indeed. For striking out every way imaginable at retail, I've managed to pick up 3 pairs for $925 total.

Not bad, flourishing in the secondary market.

pass on the love if you got an extra sz 11 in there.

$925! god damn

i love these but cant spend that on much on resell.

i could've gotten 2 11.5 msrp for what I paid for 1. nike had to switch it up last min :smh:

How is $925 bad for three pairs total? I spent around the same for three pairs of black/red 1's and look at the price for one pair of those.

The way dude posted $925 you would of thought it was for just one pair

Dude... NT reading skills at an all-time low

im reading right, all im saying msrp x 3 (about 525) or 200 max x 3 (600) is more acceptable to my budget than 925 for 3.

weird paying almost a g for 3

aint the resell crazy, cuz 375 for 1 of mine makes me cringe knowing if i won raffles or scooped at hoh/flight23i can get 2 msrp for 1 resell.

i dont think these are worth more than 200 max but it is what it is i cant control the market. again msrp is generally high in today's times so pay what you can if you cant get msrp. if nike released their bigger stock resell prices could've been little lower

I don't see what's so weird about it. My all-time favorite shoe so I can wear through 2 or 3 pairs over the next 5-10 years? Maybe I trade a third for another AJ1 I can't get? I love the 1 and now have 20 pairs of them in total. Makes up about 1/6 of my whole collection, so I'll always put priority on them over other shoes.

Bottom line is I'm still about $350-$400 under current market value with what I paid and I think if I wait 6 months I'm looking at paying $500-$600 a pair which I won't do. $350 is about the most I'd pay for any shoe, retail or resale. Just my own standard that works for me, my income, etc. I've also moved 6 pairs out of my collection this month for about $250 in profit and more in total than I spent.
