so far whoever pointed that out are reliable or have worked in sneaker stores so maybe you dunno your shh either, i work at a footaction for 2 years and we never get hot releases earlier than 2-3 weeks, even airthompson confirm that stores dont get shipment this early, even the dude saying his dtrl got them said they never get releases this early, so my question is do you know your shh?

aint nobody saying it aint in states or warehouses, we saying stores aint getting their shipments in from nike or jb yet, thats why your seller is sus for getting them unless he got that direct warehouse or factory hookup
I'll preface this by saying that I've never worked sneaker retail and I won't pretend like i have either. However, in February the newly opened Jimmy Jazz store in the Staten Island Mall had Hare 1s not just in stock but they mistakingly put them on shelves and sold like 4 paris until someone who knew it wasn't supposed to be out made a comment.

I'm not saying that it's a normal occurrence, and it could have been a one-off thing (maybe Hare 1s original had an earlier release date?) but to say that it can't or won't ever happen is just an assumption.

Funny you mention this

my co worker texted me again last night telling one of our stores in a smaller market got the Chicago's in like us and went ahead and put them out and sold a couple of pairs because the manager and staff thought they was just normal Jordan 1s........If you dont know about DTLR Jordan 1s take up abut 70% of our Jordan inventory in most stores. So we always getting all kinds of 1s in so we just put them out when they come in most of the time.

so somewhere out there are a couple of REAL pairs with DTLR receipts floating around

Looks like Australia may not get these we are being told I need a pre order. Pm me if anyone has a site

They used the 94 mold on this one, hence the smaller swoosh.

IMO the 94 mold looks better, although I like the swoosh on the 85's.
i hate the swoosh on the 85s  I just like the smaller swoosh looks way cleaner and I agree the 94 mold is the best mold on the Is

The issue really was about the dude that posted his early Chicagos and members jumped on him calling them fake because stores don't get get shoes until 2 weeks before RD. With exception of Gerald, no one provided any substance to the claim, which is mad cornballish imo. Now we have another member stating a store sold early so who knows. I want to know what to look for since I don't buy from unauthorized sellers often but know people that do from time to time. I always advise against team early unless you know and trust the seller. Not your friend on FB or someone you follow on instagram. Someone who knows if things ain't correct ill be at your crib or where you frequent to address the issue, not a pp claim or chargeback LOL. As for homie who held these in tbe stockroom, where da pics!? [emoji]128515[/emoji]

250 is good. The lesser the better.

If he doesn't bite, just wait for May 30

Those are definitely '94s and not worth $250 in that shape. As the "game" changes so too does the value of pairs that would otherwise be "nostalgic." I bought DS '94s for $600 a few years ago and saw a VNDS pair a few months ago (with box even) go for $300. People just don't want or respect true OGs anymore. Hence why, you just pass on the '94s and just wait for this year's. Sad but true.

Lastly, I know I'm used a hyped pair as my example but you'll get the picture...in the crease debate:

And on the subject of accessories. After the massacred version that we were given in 2013, we should feel blessed with what we are getting next month. I don't care if they come with hang tags, keychains, retro cards, coaster cards, washcloths, brushes, dust bags or OG boxes...

Just gimme the damn shoes.

gotta agree with u

^For $250 you can get almost 2 pairs of Chicagos. 1s are timeless tanks but '94s are still 21 years old and the rubber does get stiffer and drier. Get 1 to rock and 1 to stock as they say.

Can we get pics from you, or one of your co-workers?

I'm curious to see if these do come with a card. I'm assuming they'll be similar to the Hare 1 & 7 with just a small commemorative thing, but not a retro card.

I'm hoping it's a hangtag.

the hangtag would be dope af to be honest. we need a proper retro of the Chi's and the hangtag is a huge part of it imo.

I'd agree if these joints were 140. But with a unnecessary $20 price increase I need extra laces for every color in the rainbow, hangtag, built in wifi, and the kitchen sink.

yup that was my guess too, would be weird if it came with a retro card. My guess is one of those cards that came on the retro 3's

From what I remember, the OG hangtags had info on them - much like the 3's, but smaller
