Know that the leather upfront (not the heel portion) is definitely leather on the christmas pair though despite the lack of $10 increase

Kyrie - ehhh. Not impressed with any aspect, but the sum is okay. Traction is good, real good, but the heel feels more cushioned than the forefoot. Fit loosened up for me and is great in the forefoot and midfoot- heel has to be tight tight to lock in.

If you liked it loved the M10, I think the M11 is better than the XX9. The XX9 is lock down but very minimal. Cushionin is almost same but the heel of the XX9, to me, compressed better and smoother.

since the cardinals are gone i think im gonna pull the trigger on the black/gold pair

my M8's are on the verge of being RIP they werent that durable. I noticed the Kick_ Genius had the same discoloration in the toe are as mine but mine are ripping near the outer portion of the shoe near pinky toe

I'm really loving this Christmas Cardinal pair, but the glitter all over the heel and midsole is something I did not expect (received before I heard from others).  Something I will live with but definitely not my cup of tea.

I wonder if there is a safe way to scrape away at it or remove it?

so ndc is my only option at the moment

I know NW said his synthetic pair broke in nice. Not quite leather but as close to it as possible from what I have seen.

You stated before the heel cushioning is softer in the M11 than the XX9. Sounds like the XX9 has smoother and better cushion feel. Better spring back? A more detailed explanation would be appreciated if you have time. Thanks!

The foam is the same - the structure is different. The foam of the Melo is exposed and built like a crash pad, where the heel of the XX9 is double lasted and contained. It allows for the Melo to compress more. Also, te heel of the Melo rides higher so it feels like it is "mashing" more. Here is a comparison of the heel - View media item 1337642

Duke, did you think that the shoe's upper and cushion felt stiff straight out the box? Just got mine in today and tried them on. Extremely stiff. Hope it breaks in. I expected to some degree that the upper would be stiff, but I was surprised that the cushion felt stiff as well.

Oh yeah, stiff upper for sure. Expected using those materials but a good casual day or couple hours shooting and you should be good. Same with the cushioning. Heel felt good to go, forefoot needed a little to break down the insole and feel the zoom.

Thanks. Don't know if this makes sense, but I did feel the zoom but it felt hard like a rock. Noticeably different from the XX9. But I should break them in before I make any judgment on the shoe. Most definitely like these better than the LeBron 12. I can tell that much just by trying them on.

Definitely a great steal.  Especially for this early on!  If they had my size in the black/golds I probably would have jumped on them.

I wore my christmas pair 3 times on court. Returned them today for full refund. After playing for the last year in kobe 9 elite lows with the lunarlon cushioning, i couldn't take how rigid the cushoniing was on the m11s.  The lunarlon insole on the kobes wraps your foot and it's soft and flexible enough to move with your foot as you push off. But, i'm 31 and basketball is getting more and more painful. haha. but just a warning.  I really wanted to love these, but I guess if you find a shoe you love..just stick with it for as long as you can. for me, its the kobes.
