I'm from Stockton but been livin in the east coast for a couple years now. JJ/DTLR are dope stores. Nice to have em here along with the regular chains we have out west.

Debating if I should try and track down a deal on black/red lows or wait for the AJKO release that is supposed to be happening august. What do you guys think? It's mostly materials for me, I would think that the leather would have a longer lifespan but I like the high top look of the KOs.

Well KOs aren't confirmed so you might be waiting for nthing.

Both versions will last indefinitely so life isn't much of a factor

Good point. On the lifespan part I have just seen that you can't really clean the canvas or the colors will fade, or fade over time since it is canvas, vs I would think the leather would look better longer.

I've been meaning to ask, for those that have them how is the leather quality on the lows?

I have the Chicago KOs from 2009 (?) and I've had really good luck cleaning multiple times. I guess it's all about your style. They do fade a bit, but they are the most comfortable low-tech shoes I have.

Well it doesn't match the new mold leather on the chis and the lasers but it's pretty close to the 2013 black and red

Its not gonna wow you but at the same time it'll last a very long time

Not Dino, he's on NT and is 100% truth.

Midsole makes a big difference to me, the last Blk/Red KO release in 2012 had an AJ1 sole.

I should have stocked up on those.

I've called every DTLR and Jimmy Jazz around my way and they don't have any stock of the blk/red lows.
