Debating if I should try and track down a deal on black/red lows or wait for the AJKO release that is supposed to be happening august. What do you guys think? It's mostly materials for me, I would think that the leather would have a longer lifespan but I like the high top look of the KOs. 

I like the lows more than AJKO. Had the black/red AJKO too. Can't go wrong with leather shoes and the lows are so versatile.

Not Dino, he's on NT and is 100% truth.

Midsole makes a big difference to me, the last Blk/Red KO release in 2012 had an AJ1 sole.

I should have stocked up on those.

I know I have em but we can't complain about wanting things OG and then not liking when we get what we ask for

Feel free to name the source or the article or the thread because I'm curious on the details. I know Don Drew mentioned it but i didn't know if there'd been any sort of follow up from there

Most likely, as stock starts drying out. I would be ok with out them  though if I don't find a deal like $99 posted earlier in the thread.

Blk/red KOs are coming out, it had been confirmed by legit sources BUT with a vandal midsole which is a deal breaker for me.

If its Dino I'm still 50/50 on it happening but it should have a vandal sole thats how KOs are

Well KOs aren't confirmed so you might be waiting for nthing.


Both versions will last indefinitely so life isn't much of a factor

Good point. On the lifespan part I have just seen that you can't really clean the canvas or the colors will fade, or fade over time since it is canvas, vs I would think the leather would look better longer.

Nothing special. The black leather is ok but the the red is rubbery

We haven't got the Bred lows here, but some consignment shop is still selling these for like $220. Apparently no one is interested in those... so I might just save again and cop
