I find it quite peculiar that people watch MMA with jubilee. It's two men beating each other to a pulp. Doesn't anyone else find this a bit bizarre? Why two human beings can willing wail on each other for the entertainment of others? Money really is the end all be all for some on Earth. I find it even more odd that women partake in these events. Why anyone would want to watch two women pulverize each other is beyond me.
 
i guess i just don't understand people who don't understand it...

its a form of dominance...do dogs, lions, and sharks not fight for pack superiority? 

humans came from animals and god created those animals and they fight to perform dominance on each other

I was taking to a skater that hate sports. He goes "Don't you think it is dumb that people get paid millions to throw a ball in a hoop".

Everything can be odd to some people I guess. I used to love boxing so much but it really is getting stale. How are you supposed to spend money to go watch Mayweather run around? I don't necessarily like MMA but there is no happy medium of the two.

I like watching May for that very reason, but his fights aren't worth the price of PPVs. Hell, nothing is worth the price of PPVs.

It's martial arts / combat sports. People want to test themselves against another person. Women like to participate for the same reasons i'm guessing.
 
I'm watching a boxing match where one guy is virtually unhittable and the other guy gets hit twice per round. Not really a good comparison.
 
It involves two gloved fists and both men have to remain on their feet. there's no kicking, no takedowns, just dancing around the ring throwing a couple of jabs. it's very different. MMA is on par with the Gladiators.
 
you have to understand how mma formed. Its called Mixed Martial Arts for a reason. Previously martial artists fought within their respected arts unless for super fights now they have the ability to find against other forms under a unified rule set.

Instead of just saying them as actions why dont you think a second a realize those are different martial art forms going on. Kicking = Kickboxing/Karate, Takedowns = Wrestling/Judo/Ji Jitsu . these are all martial arts hence the term Mixed Martial Arts.
 
I don't know . I know how to handle myself but I hate the "sport" of boxing /mma etc etc... Boring AF.....im straight on fighting . Im
happy with a good basketball or football game....

I get it, but the whole purpose of each fight is to brutalize each other. I can't embrace that.

You do sound beyond ridiculous. Fighters have died in the ring and fighters have died right after fights too. Have any fighters in MMA or UFC died in an octagon yet?

so now it comes down to whether or not people die? ok so what about football then? football has to be just as bad as this stuff right?
