Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

It feels dirty cheering for Terry, but the Jet is taking flight.

Liked him back in his Atl days, but I loathe all things Dallas.

On the left side, a modern, efficient NBA offense.

On the right, Byron Scott's call back to the 80s.

Papanikolaou! Ha, dude seems basketball savvy and potentially a solid role player.

We are going to struggle big in the painted area. and Canaan or Johnson should have gotten minutes when we were up 18. Won't be any other time where it makes more sense. Troy Daniels too. We have to search for depth. I hope I don't finish the season hating McHale's coaching again. |I

Rockets gotta change those jerseys top of next season asap

Man idk where this team is going to seed come playoff time

glad parsons struggled tonight. he'll obviously play better than he did tonight throughout the course of the season, but we can't linger on that fool forever.

we played sloppy at times, but overall, it was a good game for us. dwight has to make his ft's though. wish he would play like playoff dwight every night.

1-0 :smokin

Ugly 0-5 for Daniels from downtown.

Many more massive double-doubles to come this season for T. Jones.

Let's see if McHale sets Canaan and Daniels free against the Jazz tonight. Hell, may as well get Garcia in there too.

As far as last night, interesting game. Hate Howard's foul trouble early, but with the way the game went, today was sort of expected. Definitely need better bench production going forward, but I liked what Terry brought. Good to see TJones take advantage of his matchup. Wish he could consistently do that. I'll update the thread with last night's stuff (and more than likely tonight's) when I get my laptop together.

rest beverly the next game or 2 anyways. we won't need him.

harden and howard both looked really, really tired. back to backs suck.

ariza 7-10 with 4-7 from 3, and pap with a 4-6 from 3. both SFs cost us less than 12 million. just saying.

mchale really needs to let canaan and daniels run. we're gonna need the rest down the stretch, and you don't want to ruin their confidence. canaan was going heads up with tony parker in preseason, but can't get consistent rotation minutes?
