Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

Decent win imo 

a W is a W but we should be smacking these bums

I guess that the part thats kinda scary 

If they can figure it out and click around the 2nd round it wouldnt be too crazy to think this team could make it to the finals.

Harden needs to figure it out and get it rolling. We need him to be playing at the level he was the whole season.

Dwight is gonna show up every game is what it seems like dude is hungry

Smith, Brewer, and Jet gotta keep being productive and we'll be good
 
Will update more tomorrow, but good when, though it should've been more of a dominating win. Dallas' role players stepped up, and we basically kept them in it until Smith flipped a switch. What a game from him in the second half, making Dwight the monster he can be. Prig, Smith, Brewer, and Capela :pimp: all provided solid contributions. Ironman Ariza made great plays on the defensive side. Harden had a very good 1st half, but he definitely slumped in the second.

Need 1 or both games in Dallas, doesn't really matter. Just have to raise the intensity even more, and have everybody play like we know they can.

I couldn't grab one tonight, but I go to school two blocks away from Toyota Center. I'll try and pick one up this week.
 
i noticed, the mavs are doing everything they can to stop harden, and it hasn't even phased us. he's made the right play and passed out of double teams, and the rest of the team picked it up.

for revisionist history purposes i want to be able to say i'm glad we didn't get bosh and parsons and went the depth route. it looks like it's paying off right now.
 
brewer (and jet) are really good acquisitions. i remember when brewer was the catalyst for dallas when they were down big against the heat... 

good guy to have for a championship run. still don't see houston beating gsw though.

Its pretty mind blowing to think we basically got Ariza, Brewer, Smith, and Terry for Lin, Parsons, and Ask. Mavs have 45 mil on the bench while our guys are contributing. Hmm

Forreal...I mean Rondo looks like he'd rather be kniiting a sweater than play for Carlise. I would Lamar Odom that ninja...dude obviously doesn't want to play and doesn't give a ish.

Point blank... the Rockets are better than these guys...MUCH BETTER. The Rockets know it and so do the Mavs. We gotta smack these fools and get on to round 2. A much tougher test awaits there
 
Went to the game last night, I loved the crowd's energy. I still saw too many people who looked like they were too good to stand up and cheer but whatever.

I hope the Mavs continue to play Rondo. Dirk is so useless on defense, put him in the PnR every single time or let Josh or T. Jones go at him. And I love it when Dirk gets mad at everyone else on defense and yet he is the weakest link :lol:

I want the Rockets to sweep these bums, I've been waiting since 2005 for revenge.

Just had a random thought...since nike's supposedly going to take over the nba license from Adidas this summer (I believe)...maybe we'll have new jerseys in the next couple years or so.

Edit: current deal expires in 2017 so maybe we'll have something lined up by then

Its about damn time but 2017 :x? These should of been revamped when Yao/TMac left but looking fwd to the new direction.
 
Not even a guarantee that it'll happen :-/

Just hoping it will since I feel like that's what the majority of the fans want.
