Not sure if serious about that game 5 comment.

But man, IDC what happens in the SAS/LAC series or who wins, I just need a game 7.

Saturday game with a short turnaround to a Monday game against a rested Rockets team.
 
Maybe we match up better with the Spurs and I know we play them tough all the time but I still think the Rockets have the best chance of advancing through LAC. 

Pop is too deadly of a coach in the postseason and I think we go toe to toe against LAC except the Rockets have the best player on the court. 

Actually, I hate the idea of seeing the Spurs. Kahwai sometimes looks like he's a top 3 player in the NBA and he'd D up Harden. Danny Green seems to hit the three whenever he takes it. Duncan... I'm more scared of Duncan than Blake Griffin. And the Spurs have a deep, deep bench of guys that rise to the occasion a la Patty Mills doing his Tony Parker impression

I'm so puzzled about the matchup between either one of these times. I keep flip flopping back and forth. Something makes me want to say the Spurs, cause I feel like we just physically matchup with them better. I feel like we could tire their main guys out. Something just doesn't sit well with me if we were to face the Clippers. They have a weak bench, but it seems like when they face us, that bench suddenly becomes elite. IDK man, it's gonna be tough either way, but at least the Spurs/Clips series is going to 7, and the Rockets should be taking full advantage of the gap between these games.

well...at least we won't have to worry about trying to pick who we'd rather play after tonight. hope we don't come out rusty in game 1 although i feel like that's almost always the case in a scenario like this.
 
Well well, Harden takes out Dirk, CP3 takes out Duncan... I hope the Rockets have been preparing. This series could be a bloodbath.
 
Saw that Doc said CP0 might not play GM 1 or something like that if so we should definitely take that *** not that we wouldn't have but it'll definitely help if he doesn't play.

rockets just gotta be on their ****. I hate when they come out flat sometimes smh Harden just looks outta there like all he cares about is getting home to a bad *****
 
Doc aint fooling me. This is gamesminship. Rockets should prepare as if a 100% healthy Paul is playing.

hope we come out ready to ball the **** out tonight. for some reason i thought the season series was 1-3 in their favor this year...didn't realize it was 2-2. none of the games were with dwight. feeling kind of optimistic. hopefully we can contain the hobbled cp3.
 
So much for that. 6 days of rest only to come out flat and make Austin Rivers look like he belongs in the NBA. The amount of TOs was embarrassing, Harden stayed contained, and the defense outside of Dwight was just underwhelming. TJones may as well have beem a DNP, and Terry just didnt add anything. Crawford, Rivers, Reddick, and Barnes all played roles that they should not have played. Limiting the TOs will be a key factor heading into the next game.
 
I can't even be mad about that. We just got our butts kicked

Still can't believe how absent the majority of the team was after the 6 day rest. Brewer, Jones, and Terry were hardly making an impact, especially Jones. Harden didn't play like an MVP candidate, and Smith didn't have one of those breakout games. Dwight and Prig were the only ones to really come and play, and Ariza in the first half.
 
Couldn't watch the game last night but come on...you lose by 16...on your home floor...to a Clippers team without CP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize Blake had a triple double but this is the playoffs...you GOTTA win that game.

Its a long series...but they gotta get Game 2. I think the Rockets can beat these guys, i don't think they can beat them 4 out of 5 games.
 
Rockets goofed giving up game 1. But the long lay off didn't help. On top of CP3 being out. Rewatch game 1 of the Dallas series and the stadium was rocking compared to last night. Top to bottom, everybody took game 1 last night for granted. Think the loss is a blessing in disguise. Tighten up the ship, sense of urgency, go down on your sword. Do or die game 2, Rockets should get it. Series isn't over, but definitely an uphill climb at this point.
 
Even though we beat Dallas in 5 games, I feel we didn't play that well. So the game yesterday wasn't exactly shocking lol

What the **** has happened to our defense? I don't really buy Bev having that much of an impact, but maybe I'm wrong.

I had a feeling they were gonna do this **** smh it really doesn't surprise me anymore man. I mentioned it in post above and that's exactly what they did. Harden has his mind on some ***** or sumn.

These Rockets have a track record of doing dumb ****. Not closing games out, losing games they shouldn't etc. Dudes lack ******* focus **** pisses me off.

I don't know who's to blame Mchale or the leaders of the team

Its not the end of the series but damn its sucks watching this team not come out hungry

How do you come out so flat? I felt like Harden really didn't play aggressive at all last night, he needs to come out next game and put in work. I don't think the series is over by any means but it's just so disappointing

I felt like Dwight was the only one who really came to play last night.
 
Take an 11 point lead and then the air seems to have been let out the tires. This is absolutely pathetic, and they have 24 minutes to get that corrected.
