Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

Rockets gotta run in the Staples Center like Stone Cold when he came to save the WWF from the Alliance.

I just can't respect anything being done out here. That Josh Smith early pull up in transition? That early back to basket look to Dwight against Deandre?

In what world are these preferred shots? McHale ain't coaching **** out here. win or lose

not even going to elaborate on defense, everybody knows what it is on that side

what a game! unbelievable. This is the Rockets team that we're used to seeing, just fighting till the end. Now we just gotta take care of game 7 on Sunday.

I only had the smallest glimmer of hope that this series could turn, and cot damb what a turn :pimp: they looked dead in the water, but when they cut it to 13, I said to myself "if they cut this to 8, I'm all in". And maaaaaaaan what a feeling :smokin Props to McHale for sticking with the guys that got him the comeback.I can't tell y'all how happy I am. Will update more tomorrow. I don't even care that I have to roll back over at 5:30am. That doesn't mean **** to me right now  TC is gonna be rockin. I wasn't ready for this season to be over, and I'm glad this team felt the same. Peeeeace.

Brewer was a +32

But thats exactly what was missing, and what we needed. It isnt Rocket science that we need guys to step up and hit shots.

The defense what was played with Dwight, Smith, Brewer, Ariza, and Terry on the floor. Ariza brought the damn clamps

For the **** we give McHale, very ballsy of him to stick with that lineup and leave the MVP runner up on the bench, and it worked.

Man I'm pissed as hell but I couldn't be more impressed with the Rockets man. That was flat out incredible.

This is indeed a make or miss league and the Brewers, Terry's, and JOSH SMITH'S of the world came up huge when they were supposed to while our Rivers, Crawford, Barnes, Redick, etc. came up small. You guys were dead in the water. That's impressive as hell man.

It was amazing watching them comeback in the 4th.

Brewer and Smith took over

Dwight did his thing as usual and the Defense down the stretch...... My God

if we are able to chanel that defensive effort and relentlessness in the future we are gonna be very tough to stop. It was beautiful to watch. It seemed like everyone was in perfect position every play. Cp0 was getting pressured a ton off the PnR and wasn't allowed to go off.

there is NO way I see them losing game 7 I just don't see it. We have all the confidence and momentum in the world right now. Boys need to just come out and keep doing they thing. Clippers just looked like they got the life sucked outta them I don't see them taking it down here.

Dwight with another playoff Dwight performance 20/20.

Bench showed out. Mchale balled. Props to James for understanding the flow of the game and cheering/being happy for the team.

Harden and Dwight 0FG, 1pt in that entire 4th quarter man. Rewatching the game TJones started the ball rolling for the comeback and JSmith and Brewer kept it rolling.

Man I'm ecstatic but still got business to handle. One more game fellas. Same blueprint, let CP3 and Blake get theirs and control everyone else. Refs had a super quick whistle when it came to the Rockets but we didn't let it get to us. Hopefully Mchale has one more game left in him to get us past the Clippers.

Btw, thoughts on that small ball lineup? TJones on DJ and Ariza on Blake.
