Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

what BS! The refs normally love to call double techs in a scenario like that especially considering Curry ran after Ariza and to no surprise they dont have the balls to throw Curry out.

^  for real. i don't know what's up with Dwight whether mentally or phsyically, but I'll say he's been pretty MEH the last month, but with losses it feels like longer. Another positive, well, the bench made it a game somewhat, showed some heart that the starters weren't showing. Dorsey, Shved, Terry, and Brewer all put in some work to make it a 9 point lead. They put in so much work that Kerr unloaded the vagina starters again just to make sure they didn't get closed out.

It's a damn shame that Smith got ejected like that. When they showed the replay, it wasn't much, but ehhhh, he has a Demarcus Cousins like rep. The loss still stinks regardless of the positives. One thing of note....what exactly happened to Bev? i feel like he's not even the same player.

I really hope Dwight is playing hurt cause it would be a damn shame if he was really just playing this poorly.

The Warriors are just better than the Rockets. I thought having Dwight against them would help but NOPE!

Need to rebound in a major way tonight (no pun intended). After such a pathetic performance, there's no way there could be another let down like that. The Suns won't be a pushover either, so full effort is needed. And I guess we can maybe get a look at our future PG in Dragic coming home....

Our other future PG got a DWI lol

LMAOOOOOOO I was thinking this when I saw those tweets.

This game....man  It was mostly good Rockets, but the bad showed up here and there, but the MVP made should it ended on a good note. Besides Howard's injury (which doesn't seem serious right now, but I do feel like he needs to sit some games), it was a very balanced effort all the way around. Just look at the scoring and minutes played. not only did McHale use 10 guys, but the minutes for the later guys were actually significant, instead of just using your later spots for 2-3 minutes in a blowout (whether a blowout win or blowout loss). McHale always seems to do things right now cause he comes up with it, but through pure to the brink desperation. it should not have to come to that. Thank god for this win though after that washing the other night, especially since the Suns are actually a good team.

If any of yall give a damn, the Katy Mills Nike outlet has the harden Santa shirt for $15.

Even though we won, I still wish we kept the lead and hung dirty on them  Harden was lights out, and it was a very balanced effort all around. I so appreciate how active Dorsey was, even though he didn't score much. Ariza and Bev didn't shoot lights out, but they scored enough, and they were studs defensively, and once again, glad to see Bev's defense back. Seemed like it was missing for soooo long. This guy Capela...they are spot on about his defense being light years ahead of his offense. he STILL hasn't scored a point yet  :smh: Mavs on Wednesday, and i want a healthy Dwight back and ripping the Mavs in half. Would love for Parsons to go 2 for 21.
