Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

Gonna have to catch highlights and a possible replay of this. Was at the Lil Duval show tonight, though I was able to see the first quarter on the screen there, but I guess Root Sports was ******* up, so they switched it to the Heat/Pels  real interested to see how this was a 4 point victory. Seeing the Rockets come out awfully slow in the beginning made me think it would be one of THOSE games, and I guess it almost was

Man TJones back to ballin. You gotta feel good. I hope Dwight doesnt mess up the flow of things when he comes back :smh:

when dwight comes back he needs to be used situationally. can't just post him up just to do it. play matchups better. gotta run PnR with harden/jones and let dwight sit on the weakside block for all those gimme alleys that deandre jordan get

I agree. Lets hope McHale is competent to do this. Still dont know why they gave him an extension before the season is over :smh: . I am also pretty happy with our second unit.

King James vs Lebron James :smokin I'll be in the building again for this game, but definitely higher up this time  With Kyrie out, should make the gameplan easier. Emphasis on should. Cavs have shooters even with Kyrie out, so perimeter D is crucial for today.

Ariza and Harden were so good on defense today. Both cost a little over half of what the Mavericks are paying Parsons

What a fantastic game to be at. When the Cavs zapped our 9 point lead to tie it up a 82, I was nervous than a ************  the roller coaster of emotions during that entire 4th quarter after that was something serious. Ariza and Bev really did play better than the have in a long time, and it was so very needed after a pinch of a cold spell (TJones, D-Mo, and Smith all bricking easy shots). The crowd was hype as **** down the stretch. Lebron's bricks in person :smokin another site to behold. Harden & Lebron guarding each other was great, cause it seemed like they both picked the right spots to do it in. I don't know what the commentary was like, but I'd love to know what was on the broadcast, along with the national medias reaction in general. I feel like they'll solely talk about Lebron's missed FTs, and not focus on the good team defense that was played.

Harden's cooking hand signal, or whatever the hell you call has taken over as my official hand sign from the Money Manziel cashout.

but if the stat was the other way, yall would be calling for his head. is it so hard to say he might not be as bad as yall make him seem?

We improved defensively might be due to the new assistant coach but I give credit to Mchale for addressing it I am not calling for his head cause they're really aren't any better choices out there we actually run more sets now compared to last year hopefully when things get tough we don't run all Isos and continue executing.

Bruh folks are gonna see what they want to see & always see the negative in McHale even in wins. I gave that debate up a long time ago.

Nice team win today. Errbody played tough.
