Johnson should've been getting some burn on athleticism alone. I'll take his (so far) limited offense since he'll actually be able to keep up with people.
 
Harden needs to show out tonight.

Not putting it solely on him, but playoff Dwight has been rolling. Harden's getting his numbers, but just watching the games, the effort just doesn't seem there. I want that "idgaf" and give me the ball and **** the way mentality at times. The defense, on offense, just body language I guess. Or I've just been waiting for that one statement game from him all series.

But I'm going to lose it if I see another one handed flip bounce pass through 2 defenders trying to thread the needle TO again.
 
meh, harden is getting doubled every time he touches the ball. you have to slow your play when that happens

Understand that and the cross court passes to the corners for he open threes. So far, he's making the right plays. Don't get me wrong, I just want to see that fire man. Not exactly scoring all the time but the effort.
If it's slowing down on offense for him, make them feel your presence on defense.

harden's doing everything he can on offense and u see his defensive effort when he ended up guarding blake for that little stint? harden's fighting, things just got out of hand last game 
 
Harden's defense on Blake has been fantastic, just sucks you can't keep him on Blake for a long time just cause of potential foul trouble. The whistles got swallowed last game every time the Rockets had the ball early, then they called the game fairly even once it started getting out of hand.

welp that lasted for a quarter. Hack a jordan hurt the Rockets more than the Clippers. The guys were playing good and hack a jordan messed up the whole flow of the game.

Like I said midseason...Mchales gotta go...so his strategy to solve the Clippers is hack a jordan? No changes on offense, no defensive adjustments...just play harder and foul Deandre. Dwight can't get more than 2 post touches a quarter...James still goin' 1 on 5 from the top of the key.

Even with all the injuries....the Rockets have just as much talent as the clips do no way they should be getting dominated the way they are.

Now the Clips playin' NBA 2k in the 3rd :smh:

No matter how these last two quarters play out, the Rockets will not win a title with Mchale as the coach.

Yup time to fire McHale. Don't care what you are going to say. We can't get to the next step with him. He's basically our Mark Jackson.

Crazy thing is these idiots gave him an extension right?

This series is done. We would of got washed by Memphis anyways
 
Yeah the players didn't perform tonight, but it starts at the top with Mchale. The dumb hacking took the flow from our offense.

We still haven't figured out how to defend their pick and roll. We still haven't figured out how to get harden free enough to move toward the basket while keeping the lane clear of Jordan and griffin.

We have the talent on this roster to at least compete with any team. No way we should be getting blown out like this every game. Series should have been a sweep anyway without that bs comeback win we had game 2. I like Mchale, but if they want to go further than making it past round 1, they need to make a change.

I actually think we wouldve matched up better facing the Spurs, then facing Memphis. GSW and LAC just apparently have too much of...well, everything
 
The team is not defending or hitting shots. They're not gonna beat any playoff team playing like this.
 
Rockets need a solid point guard or another elite scorer. What's the one thing just about every team in the playoffs have in common right now? A top tier point guard. Rockets don't have squat. It's not going to cut it. Leslie Alexander still in that mindset that having a center and shooting guard star can still win championships. It failed with Yao and Tmac, and now its failing with Howard and Harden. It's not going to get it done.

If we weren't hacking DJ, we would have got blown out way earlier. We have no answer for the Clippers in transition.

slight reach imo. We've been doing this for 2 seasons now. First it was the need of a 4 to guard LMA who was torching us. Now everybody begging for an upgrade at PG. We might as well hope to upgrade a position every year until we have the entire starting 5 WC All Star team.


Our roster is too deep with steal contracts to be complaining about personnel. We need a different/better coach/system. Same **** since last season, but it's taking us getting mopped for people to see it.

But lack of effort/desire again from what it looked like.

Can we channel our inner "Clutch City" and bring it back? 3-1 against PHX also but those games weren't decided like these loses.

One game at a time. Tuesday can't come sooner.
 
Not getting out of the 2nd round wasn't the problem, it's how we've played the last couple of games. If we don't win game 5, Mchale is sure to be gone right?
