Sacramento Kings season thread | 32-48 | 4/13 @ HOU 5pm

I wonder if the wins start to pile up,does the front office have the balls to ask George to tank,or better yet did they address the situation with draft position upon hiring him...

I swear to God.... if we screw ourselves out of good draft position.....

Not sure if I should be happy that we're winning or not

basically this.

but at the end of the day, like @Nelson999  said, we get screwed in the lottery anyways.

So who knows.

Apparently there's some international prospect named Krispy Popolouos or something.

Thats pretty much all I know about the upcoming draft.

I'd rather them try to play well under Karl and get some momentum for next season. if they still end up keeping the pick, great.

We could still turn this team into an 8th seed next year with this core and a couple trades

that's the outlook I want to have, but I just feel like we mineaswell capitalize on being **** this year and tank away... because next year, we won't have an excuse.

We're still like 7th in the tank-off rankings too

i'd rather use these last 27 games to get as much confidence and chemistry as possible heading into next year.

i'd rather trade the pick than use it anyway. Unless we have a shot at getting Cauley-Stein

I'm gonna roll with Nelson and say we should build chemistry for next year. History says we suck at drafting and our picks don't pan out for us.

@BlakeEllington: Cousins on if physicality of the Grizzlies was part of his frustration: "How can I say this and keep my money? You know how it goes."

That may be true... But why risk it?

I would rather take my odds at drafting a bust at #5 than at #8

Just have this team play together just a bit and be competitive and lose some games.

Building for next year doesn't have to mean W's
