Malone was 8-4 this season with his opening-night starting five of Collison, McLemore, Gay, Thompson and Cousins.

@thedeek and meningitis got him canned.

Seriously, I didn't know Malone channeled the guys to miss free throws and turn the ball over 20+ times a game. Thank God that game plan is out of the way.

We need to be realigned and moved to the NFC South.

Vinny Del Negro??? The guy that couldn't get along with Chris Paul and Blake?

DMC might Spreewell his ***

I'm confused now. I thought we hated his rotations and that Sessions was playing so much. Not to mention coming out with a big lead after the 1st quarter almost every game only to blow it right after halftime, unless someone was sabotaging things, isn't this what we expected?

Not out of nowhere. When our MVP has missed the last 9 games and Pete D'Allesandro has given him **** to work with. And he had a great bond with our best players.

and his record with the kings at full strength this year was 8-4

and our starting lineup (Collison,McLemore,Gay,JT,Cuz) was the best rated defensive lineup in the league

Before firing him, You at least try to fix some of the gaping holes in the roster (no perimeter shooting, backup PG &SG, backup Center, etc) , get Cuz back, and see where the team goes.

I'm confused...

I swear a few games ago I read yall wanted Malone gone and questioned his coaching skills, also how much cousins covered his bad coaching

Now he's fired and yall upset. LOLz

This is exactly what I was going to say. This is what I posted on KingsFans

This was the right decision, although the timing is crazy. The organization wants to win now, and this sends that message. Our record might be better than we all expected, but it should be better than it is. Once Cousins went out, it was clear that his coaching decisions were questionable at best, especially his rotations. He is responsible for a lot of the losses in which we could have won. Ultimately PDA noticed the same horrible coaching that was being displayed, and instead of dragging it out, they just pulled the trigger. It took nerve but like I said, it sends a message to the players. Mediocrity is not acceptable, and unfortunately Malone was the epitome of that. Now if we can only do something about Sessions and JT.....

His rotations were puzzling at best but FTs and TOs combined ultimately cost us a handful of games. I had no idea those fall on the shoulders of the head coach.
