Darren Collison for MIP. This is a great rebirth for him since being displaced in Indiana years ago.
 
He produced with Malone in New Orleans, he's doing it again with Malone in Sacramento. Some guys are just built perfectly for certain systems. I think the fact Mike Malone preaches defense and Collison playing for Ben Howland at UCLA is no coincidence why DC has flourished here.

Good point of connection. I'm all-in on Malone as a successful NBA HC. More so than Blatt, Kerr, Fisher just as a point of comparison for high-level teams.
 
I know we can all find reasons to point at the first 4 wins and come up with excuses as to why we don't think this will continue. But something is definitely different this year. The first 5 games weren't exactly an easy schedule, and even with all kinds of easier schedules in the past, it's been over a decade since he have come out 4-1 to start a season
 
lol exactly.

I know it's easy to be pessimistic and say "oh Portland and LA aren't playing well and the Nuggets suck" but you don't just fall into a 4-1 start, especially against Western Conference teams

I'm not saying we are going to the playoffs, but i don't think we are in for another sub 30 win season either
