As much as I joked about how much I wanted JT gone, dude still played hard despite all of the chaos that is his team. Never caused any trouble in the locker room or off the court. Gotta give him respect. I wish him good luck in Philly.

I'm still unsure about the salary dump for Nik and draft picks. Especially if we're clearing cap space for Rondo and Wes Matthews who's apparently commanding $15M+/year :x
 
I just dont know what to think. I dont really give an asterisk about draft picks or the guys we traded but I don't know if they will use this money wisely

exactly. DMC and one other guy have become AllStars. 2 guys, in 20+ lotterys

i could care less about the picks, im glad their making the effort to improve the team NOW.  
 
it all depends on whom Vlade signs and how efficient he is with the remaining cap....

there are only 5 players under guaranteed contract.... having essentially $26 million to fill the roster will be a tough task and why I am rolling my eyes at the Kings going after Matthews (unless somehow he budges on his $15 mill a year desire)
 
If Vlade freed that much in cap space can he use it for a straight up trade for Lawson? He's already locked in for less than what guys are making now who he's better than and the writing is on the wall for him in Denver.
 
ummmm he could trade, but Vlade really don't have anyone outside of Cousins, Gay, Mclemore, Collison, WCS to trade

McCallum, Moreland, and Stockton I think, all have options that need to be picked up still I believe

We keep saying JT and Landry's contracts are bad. We get rid of them while giving up last year's draft pick, couple of swap options, and now we're gonna give Wes and Rondo even worse contracts.

Efff our collective lives.

I think we should celebrate his new found Lakerness. We went on a couple streaks when he left town last year. Maybe we can beat the Bulls record this year
