Biria is bomb as hell.
My ex's mom made the best.

Super spicy red broth, amazingly tender shredded beef. Onions, cilantro, tapatio on top.

Tortillas freshly warmed.

mmmmm.

No pics of the ex, but i will post a pic of biria. Here it is.

tbh most of the random foods I try, I usually just see on tv or IG and then I just yelp search where I can find it in Sac or the bay area

always give new things a try!

I've been messing with molcajete de mariscos and caldo de res... both have been cool but birria has my interest. (@NikeTalker23, input would be cool)

Its not really that spicy, what makes it spicy is adding your own tapatio and fresh salsa to your individual bowl.

But the bowl of broth is actually pretty mild tbh. Its mostly beef broth and tomato-broth type taste. Not super spicy.

Some people just added the cilantro and onions to it without the spice, still bomb.

ok dope, I'll try to give it a go in the next few days

I mean. I don't hate it. Just don't prefer it. If someone orders the hummus for appetizers, I'll just eat the pita bread.

I haven't had any good babaganoush since moving to sd though. This spot next to my apt in Sunnyvale was goat status in that dept

Man hummus is so good

i can kill a family size Sabra in one sitting no problem.
