I saw probably 80 percent of the games Magic played in between 1988 and 1992, so I stand pretty firmly behind anything I say about how his game would translate to this era.
88-92 huh? Never watched anything prior to that? Like his prime from 80-87.

This old era vs new era debate is pointless cuz there's so many things you have to take into account. The game was way more physical back then, the rules cater to offense now but at the same time teams in the 80's and early 90's were scoring 100 points like it was nothing and they rarely used the 3 point shot. In the early 00's the league was real physical, other than a few in the West nobody was scoring 100 points. It seems like ever since the Nash and D'Antoni Suns that's when teams started to play this fast pace shoot a bunch of 3's style.

You could equate that to the 2001 defensive 3 second rule change.

I only became an avid, knowledgeable (for an 10-11 year old) basketball fan around 1987. So, it was only the 1987-1988 season that I started watching all the games I could. Before that, I watched games only sporadically.

It never intrigues u to go back and watch some of them old games? Being a fan of the NBA and all, might as well know the history as well. You can find all of that on YouTube.

Still can't get over of all the PGs to choose from since Magic's retired to compare Magic to was Steve Nash lol. How did your eye test bring u to that comparison?

Goddamn b that **** was hours ago stop quoting me and let me live. I didnt even compare the two as players you numbnut all I said was if he was playing today his statistical production would look a lot like prime steve nash. You acting like thats a stretch to say

But I dont care any more. Please just let this die and dont quote me about **** in the future.

I think I understand the history well enough without having to watch old games on Youtube. My schedule is a little crowded for that.

Steve Nash though? Let me guess Bird would have been a Kyle Korver type that could rebound as well?

Your taking about some of the greatest basketball minds in history. There's no real antiqued way to say what they'd be in this Era. I think they'd all do better than they did though with the league being much more finesse than it was back then.

Tony Allen suspend for violating team policy.

What did he do actually make a layup?
