I really had this same argument this morning and they just ignored everything I said in defense of the modern NBA and said nope the 90s are better. I've come to hate discussing basketball in real life now, the conversations are always so shallow.
Later on one of them said that the Cavs were playing great defense on this win streak and I was like really?? Its the exact oppoistie. Just winning games doesnt mean you're playing good defense

Because we have one of the best records in the western conference against West coast playoff teams which matters because, ya know we play them in the playoffs and not "The inferior conference."
