lol I just don't like the way people forget how good some older "washed up" players were... sports media just brainwashes everyone. it's stupid.
MVP candidate? come on dude. How good older "washed up" players were?
Dude was damn near an MVP candidate THIS season before the injuries flared up again. What are you talking about "washed up"? Why even give your time to stuff like that?
That was the plan since the season started. Everyone knew. 99.9% of them won't even be here next year. This dude Melo is really going to go enjoy the All Star game and play with his buddies then quit on his team the day after...
The knee is fine for playing with your super star friends in a meaningless exhibition, but the knee is too hurt to play out the games youre payed 120 million dollars to play.
Great message.
anyone betting on all-star weekend fashion event?
wouldn't say more skilled, but they have been drilled with team fundamentals that a lot of american players lack heading into the nba. different systems in europe (club teams) vs high school & ncaa hereIt's comical how foreign players are seen as more "skilled" than US players at the development level.
yeah this was the plan all along and while he does kind of have to represent the city hosting the event, it is a little selfish to shut it down immediately after. That was the plan since the season started. he took a spot that an able bodied player could've used. he doesn't deserve to be an all star this year.
he isn't quitting on the knicks though. that's ridiculous to say. he really should've shut it down a few weeks ago

Seems like something an NTer would come up with and you do work for the Clippers.
